These have been a life saver. I have a dash cam that I don't leave mounted on the windshield over night, so each day I have to unplug the USB C power cord. It took about 6 months and the plug pulled apart. After replacing the cable I ordered these magnetic adapters and now it is super easy to just let the magnets connect for power and disconnect at the end of the day.Easy to use, strong connection, and works perfectly every time.

This a great, well designed product the perfectly protects a USB-C charging port from being damaged by a cable being yanked out. I am creating illustrations on my iPad for a children's book I wrote. Problem being, my dog kept getting hung up on the cable and yanking it out. I discovered this solution and it works perfectly. The magnet is strong enough to keep the cable in place; however, it will breakaway in the event it is pulled on. It can be easily reattached with no damage to the port on your device. The magnetic connector featured a small blue LED light that shows it is supplying power to the port and a nice swivel design that work; it does not support data transmission.

This is a great adapter if all you want is to charge something. Solid mechanical connection that holds while you move your device but releases smoothly if tugged and does support high power charging.It also works for media, like USB storage, but I recommend against it because the easy disconnect could end up corrupting your media.It does not work for display port / monitor connection. That would have been perfect for me. If I could just use one of these at the office and home and easily switch between the two sites. But the laptop doesn't recognize monitors when connected with this adapter.

Really disappointed with these. They technically do push enough power to charge fast, but the whole point of a magnetic adapter is convenience—and the magnet here is weak. Almost every time I go to plug in, I have to wiggle or push it to get a solid connection. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a quick connect. Not worth it.

These gadgets are PERFECT. It's like MAGSAFE for my PC laptop, but better than MAGSAFE. It has a hinge so there's no more stress on the DC cord for port on the side of my laptop. The magnets hold pretty well; at least as well as MAGSAFE connectors. Sometimes I knock one off accidentally, but it's easy to just plug back in. These things work great. You can leave the USB-C/Thunderbolt part in the laptop permanently and keep the swivel+magnet part on the power adapter cable permanently. These are a serious game-changer.

My old cable was always falling out of my phone.These adapters don't just make it easier to connect, they have a firm USB C connection, strong magnets, and work great! Definitely needed the pair so i can have one at work and one at home.

best connector ever! pop the big part on the end of your USB C cord, the little dongle into the USB C port in your smart phone and move the two parts together, CLICK! They grab each other and you are charging. when done pull apart, Really easy to do.BONUS! Today I forgot I was charging and grabbed my phone and walked away. The slight tug made me look. NO damage to either the device or cord. After all that is how you unplug anyway! Superb product I have already ordered more!

I bought these. They didn't work well. I tried another set (warranty replacement), was hopeful... But the new warranty replacement did exactly the same thing. So...
