Great starter kit for dip powder nails
This kit is perfect for getting started with dip powder nails. It includes everything needed to use it right away, and the products are easy to apply. The colors look nice and the finish turns out neat. A great option for beginners. I recommend it.

Salon quality. Takes practice!
Takes a bit of practice to get right. Having an electric rotary file is helpful to get it perfectly smooth.

Easy and looks great
Took a couple rounds of practice but after that my nails have been coming out great! This is color 260, a natural nude. Used two layers and achieved a semi translucent color, exactly what I was going for. The powder in this kit was more finely milled than others I've used, and did not clump at all during application. The liquids were great too, no issues, and the top coat worked well. Highly recommend this set. Update: I've swatched all the colors, they're not exactly the same as the listing pics, the last three in particular are rather orange (see pic attached). The first two or three are good for French tip style nails. Also the dip looked great for the first few days but then started cracking. I had better results when I used higher quality dip liquids I got from a small business. Will save the liquids from this kit for swatching and practice.

“Tough as nails”
This is my very first DIY nail dip kit and I’m here for it! I was surprised how easy it was to learn how to use it and the results were amazing! I will say that it’s a tad challenging getting off your skin around your nail once it’s fully cured. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and all for a fraction of the price of what it would cost to have it done in a salon every single time I needed a touch up or wanted a color change.

Worked well for me, nice and strong
Turned out great! I recommend doing them on natural nails or if you’re going to add tips, shave them down slim so when you dip they don’t turn out too puffy, otherwise the toughness and quality is good. Also I appreciate the extra brushes that came with it, that’s been an issue with dip nails, the brushes clump up but this came with two extra

Activator is not great but the colors are beautiful
Even after prepping the nail how it should be, the color breaks away from the nail bed starting at the outside edges within sometimes just a few days. I think the activator is not doing what it needs to or the base is not right. Often would crack on one or two nails so I'd have to start over in less than a week. (I wear gloves when doing dishes, don't bite my nails, and am careful.) Other than that, the color is beautiful, the finish is seamless, and it's very easy to apply. I have used the white for a subtle french manicure and loved it. Since it's sheer, it is very natural and subtle. The powder is very fine, does not ball up, and easy to apply without needing to file as long as you apply the base coats evenly. The brushes are ok. Would like them to be wider, but they apply decently if you have a steady hand. Removal... when mine cracked or broke I did end up peeling it off my nail. I know.. not the best thing to do. However, I don't file my nail bed and keep them natural. Just enough to prep for the base coat. Still, my nail wan't terribly damaged. A little scuffed up, but not awful. I would soak them in 100% acetone with a cotton round and wipe them as they soaked for 10 min. Easily came off. If you have a blow drier aimed at the side of your container as you soak it helps it go faster if it heats up.

Well worth the money
I am a complete beginner first time ever trying this and I feel like anyone can do this. I strongly suggest very thin coat. Make sure you wipe off the brush that you're using and putting the base coat on and make sure that you use the brush to wipe off all excess powder in between each layer. Make sure your hands are dry and your nails have been properly prepped.. The prep should be the filing is done first cuticles everything taken care of make sure there's no oils on your nails so maybe take a little alcohol wipe and clean them off but make sure they thoroughly dried and you can do 2 to 3 coats depending on your preference but definitely do very thin cost and clean the base coat brush off between each layer. I have not tried the Matt topcoat yet but hope to shortly. The other topcoat worked really nice shiny held up well. I have them on about a week and so far as the polish stay beautifully.. I tried the darker mauve and gray the very first time when I did it and I feel I did better with mauve then gray for some reason so I took the gray off and just used the mauve. When I took the grey off, I soaked the nail polish remover on a cotton ball and put clips on my nails until dissolved, but that's really not great for your nails so the next time I remove my nail polish what I'm going to do is heat water up in a bowl Then put the acetone nail polish remover in a Ziploc bag with a cotton put the bag in the heated water and soap for about 10 minutes and that will dissolve it much better and be better for my nails . I will be putting in coconut oil to help. Keep my nails nice but that isn't necessary..Having said that the polish did come off easier than gel polish for sure. The package I purchased was the one with gray a few pinks and light beige (my only regret was a part of the colors in this particular set of very similar so I wish I had bought with a bigger variety )but I plan on buying a bigger set with Blue green and a bigger variety. Anyone can do this if you take your time don't rush it do one day at a time and then move onto the next. My suggestion is I leave about a half hour to an hour set aside to do your nails and take your time on each now and I don't think you regret buying this and you won't record the time because the more time you take putting it on and doing it right the longer it will rest. Remembe...prep nails properly, thin coats, no more than three dips and you're good to go!
