Product Made well
This product arrived earlier than expected. I used it to gauge the actual width of my orthotics. The price seemed reasonable and the product is made well additionally they added a secondary CMOS battery for future use. I noticed the company was located on the West Coast and this was one of the main reasons why I purchased from the company.

Works well, a little bulky
This seems to measure accurately. It uses two larger batteries rather than the small button cells in some similar digital caliper I looked at.The larger batteries are both good and bad - they are good for long battery life, not as good if you prefer a smaller calipier head.

Great for guitar necks!
Definitely go for the spring loaded version over non-spring...much easier to use. My application is for guitar necks and it works perfectly.

Great tool
Needed to measure inside dimensions of bore, and this tool made it easy to do. I used another of my calibrated gauges to make sure this one was on point before i put it to use. Highly recommend this for those that want a quick read out.

PERFECT for... fish tanks!
Ever wanted to know the thickness of glass used for a fish tank? This is your key to the answer! Fish tanks often have trim that keeps you from using a standard caliper on it. But with this, I can measure the glass without bothering with the trim. My only problem with it is that the measurements get so accurate, that it will change very quickly if there is ANY angle to the tool what so ever, while trying to measure. So 11/16th's may turn into 23/32nd's with the tiniest least-noticeable twist of the tool. And glass is often measured in "standard" sizes, even if they are off by a millimeter. So it's best to get to know the standards of thickness for what you are measuring so you can get it as close as possible to what you're reading.

Cheap At Twice The Price.
These are far cheaper than most digital calipers but are more than adequate for most of my needs. They are cheaply made but do a great job. Get the warranty and just use them .I love that they have fractional and decimal inches as well a mm.

They shrunk the tool
They broke a useful tool. This is my third caliper - the first handle broke off when I dropped it - the sec just stopped responding when the jaws opened. This one is of limited use - the length of the jaws is only 4 inches compared to the 6 inches of the previous two. This means that I can't use this device to measure the bottom thickness of turned bowls larger than about 4 inches. There is no indication of this change in the product description. BEWARE
