Haven't had a chance to use the tool yet. Seems heavy and robust. Should work without snapping when I am replacing those lower ball joints on Tacomas, Camrys, and Avalons. For the price, can't be beat.

Low quality tool. Ordered it yesterday and received it today and broke the first time I tried to use it. It split the thin round seem part from the thicker round seem part.

Works to spread the strut socket. It will not stay in place well if you need to start pulling or tapping anything, but it's easy to put back into place.

Oh yes. Made replacing the strut so much easier. Opens the knuckle at the strut joint : and opened the bottom control arm knuckle. Had to remove the tie rod end and axle from knuckle to get my strut off Nissan rogue 2019. Safety first.

Well we ended up getting this to work, but not without hassle, this piece is not for jobs like tring to change out shocks in my mazdaspeed 3. It was bending and looked like it broke.
