Irons great
Iron works great!! Water container is a bit difficult to fill but not bad once you get the hang of it. Works a bit differently then my last Rowenta, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy to use and works great. It's a bit heavier than my last iron but not enough to avoid buying it. Still irons great and doesn't feel heavy when using. It would be nice to have a larger water tank so you don't have to refill as often, but I had this same issue with my last Rowenta iron as I'm guessing most irons gave the same issue.

Best Iron I've Ever Had
Years ago I asked my mother, a wonderful 'sewist' and her mother (my grandmother) was a seamstress-turned-tailor, what kind of clothing iron I should get. She said Rowenta. I'd never heard of it but spent the money and will never buy another brand of iron again. A quarter century later, my older Rowenta is still working but I wanted an upgrade, so I bought this during a Prime sale. What a wonderful new iron! Very easy to use: just add water to the tank, turn the dial, and iron. The heat levels are more precise, and the features are about the same as my previous Rowenta. What I really love about this new iron is the taper-pointed tip - it gets into those smaller folds and spaces where regular irons tend to stay on top of and eliminates wrinkles more efficiently. When I opened the box I was surprised at the larger size but it actually weighs LESS than my former iron. Easy on my wrists and my arm doesn't get fatigued when ironing while sewing clothing (which takes a LOT of ironing). My photograph is of the first shirt I ironed - it took only a little over a minute to iron the entire shirt, collar and all. Great value for the money, especially when Prime season comes. Rowenta for the win!

Good temp control and sturdy!
Great iron. Works really well fro low hest to super hot steam. Made quick work of highly creased pre-made drapes that I wanted to hang. Auto shutoff works great. Seems to be really sturdy--cat knocked it off the table to the hard floor, but the iron was A-OK!

Powerful Performance with Convenient Design
The Rowenta Access Stainless Steel Soleplate Steam Iron offers excellent performance with smooth glide, strong steam output, and a convenient retractable cord, making it ideal for everyday ironing. But noticed some water leakage and inconsistent heat. Overall, it's a solid mid-range option for those seeking efficiency and comfort, especially on cotton and linen fabrics.

Looked At A Lot Of Rowenta Irons…..
I owned a Rowenta 20 yrs ago. I wanted another one because I loved the one I had. I looked at many different Rowenta irons before purchasing. I felt I needed to use it for a few months before reviewing. The new iron is no where even close to the Rowenta quality I owned 20 yrs ago. This iron leaks. It drips out of the opening door of the water well. The instructions state clearly to keep the water well full and it won’t leak. That is a lie. It drips water all over everything I iron. Very frustrating. And there is no way to stop the leaking. It leaks out the tip of the door of the water well. You can literally hold the iron face down and see the water drip out. It just seems to me this should not be happening. Very poor design. Now let’s talk about the iron plate. I’ve used this iron maybe 20 times since purchasing. The edges of the iron plate are black. I’m going to have to purchase some sort of iron plate cleaner. This should not be happening. I’ve had irons I used 10+ yrs and the plate never looked like this. Or needed cleaning. The iron is light weight. Love the slim tip. I find the water well difficult to put water in. And the temperature dial is a disaster. Does not get nearly as hot as other brands I’ve owned. After using it a few months I can honestly say I wish I had returned it. This iron is in no way shape or form the same quality of my first Rowenta. Fortunately I bought this iron at a Black Friday price. Being totally honest here. It’s the worst iron I’ve ever owned. It’s clear to me I’ll be replacing it with another brand sooner than later. No more Rowenta irons for me. Very disappointed in my purchase. Very disappointed Rowenta has fallen so far. Rowenta once made a superb iron. Sadly not anymore. I’ll never buy another one.

You want this Iron!
This is by far the best steam iron I've ever owned. I was visiting family and used their's to iron some clothes and I loved I'd so much I went online and ordered one for myself immediately. It does cost a little more than your typical department store brand, but it is worth every penny!

Used item in a new box (Issue was resolved by seller immediately)
I was sent a used iron in a new package. The water tank had moisture in it (could be from testing at the factory) , the chrome accents were scratched and it looks like someone wiped down the base plate with a sponge because there is residue all over it. Also in the package there is a card that should be attached to the base plate for protection and it was just thrown in the box. If it was just the moisture in the tank I wouldn't think anything of it because of the water tested sticker on the tank but the other issues don't give me any confidence that I didn't just get a repackaged returned item. I could be wrong in my assumptions and it may just be a product of a lazy worker in the testing group but Id rather not take my chances on something that has the ability to grievously harm the user if damaged. Update: I have updated to 5 stars because it is a great product and the issue was resolved immediately. I was sent a replacement the next day which did not have any of the above mentioned issues other than moisture in the tank from testing which isn't an issue. The iron itself works great and I could safely recommend this product now.

Good iron. Great features. It takes some learning.
Lots of features. Button placement for spray makes for inadvertent use. It takes a minute to get the hang of it, but once you're on board, it's a good iron with handy features. Great for steam. Sharp tip makes ironing hard spots easier. One knock: I wish the cord was about 6 in. longer. It's OK, but it could be better.
