How dark is this tint? Want to reduce overwhelming headlights into the rear window but no black out the view from inside or outside.

I used these shades on the rear side windows to reduce the heat and bright sun shining in on my little ones. They did the job and the kids could still see out with no problem. Also I could still roll the windows down with no problem.

Can this product be trimmed to a more exact size? It would still cling to the window after trimming?
