I'm a swimmer who has naturally dry skin anyway. A pool's chlorine and other chemicals are designed to kill bacteria, and they do that by breaking apart protein--which is mostly what our skin is made of. This really tends to make my skin extra dry, and especially the soles of my feet, which even begin to crack at the calluses. Very painful. Bottom line, I've tried many different kinds of skin moisturizers, other cortisone creams, even a prescription steroid cream. None of those worked for me very well other than to offer some temporary relief from dryness. Frequent ocean water swimming is the only thing that really had healed my skin completely, but where I live the ocean is about 55°F all year round--so I'm not in the ocean as often as would be if I lived in the tropics. The Cattem Labs Cosrtisone 10 Eczema cream is so far the ONLY product I've tried that actually relieves, moisturizes, and heals. After applying after every shower or bath---my feet are now almost like a baby's bottom and no more cracks. A+

I've had eczema for as long as I can remember. One of my earliest childhood memories is running across Grandma's carpet with freshly ointmented feet before Mom could put socks on me; leaving little white footprints. I think that the most important thing to clearing up eczema is to not scratch. A few seconds of scratching will totally wreck weeks of successful eczema treatment. I've tried numerous things to prevent itching and clear up my eczema. Aside from some very strong corticosteroids, Cortizone-10 Eczema has been one of the most effective treatments. I find it most effective over night when used after bathing. It prevents itching and I can see a noticeable difference in the morning. It seems to be less effective at preventing itching if I'm active, so in those cases I use a decent heavy lotion instead. Cortizone-10 Eczema goes on smooth and dries clear and it lasts a long time. It has a slight smell, but I don't find it to be too strong.

My daughter uses this product almost everyday due to her skin condition that this is the only cream that stops the itching. Love it for her

I have two granddaughters who suffer with eczema. After trying other creams including prescribed lotions, this seems to work the best. They love how it has cleared up their skin especially their faces. They would wear long sleeves in the summer to hide their rash. i saw this and it said it was for eczema so I bought it for my eldest granddaughter to try. She loved it so much, that I bought more for her sister. This is the only cream that they don't have to be reminded to put on their skin. When they get low I just reorder. Definitely worth five stars.
