Sharp, Large, and In Charge
This is my third Ryoba saw I’ve owned in my time, and it’s unquestionably the best. Very Sharp, very Comfortable to handle, and definitely a great looking tool. My second favorite feature is how the teeth on the rip side of the saw gradually decrease in size and spacing as it gets closer to the handle, making the initial pull much smoother as you begin. but the best part of this saw is the size. I probably should’ve taken note of the dimensions when I placed the order, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened it to find it’s about 50% bigger than my other Japanese saws. It feels like I’m holding a sword. I reckon it’s big enough for timber framing, though I’ve only used it for building furniture this far. Great tool. Great results. Very pleased with it.

Temple tools double sided saw
Saw quality was excellent and it cuts extremely well. Comes with protective sleeve. Performed better than some of my other Japanese saws. Thought it was priced well

Sweet saw and what a great value
It is the best hand saw I have and for the money I don’t suspect it can be best. I look forward to using it whenever I have to during my woodworking adventures

Cuts on PULL
Who ever thought of this is a mechanical genius. It makes sawing wood SO much easier and helps with getting very fine, very precise cuts. I with I’d bought one decades ago. This one - I already had a much smaller one I’ve used for about two years - will replace a BIGGER [name brand] saw I’ve had hanging on my wall for various projects it’s just too cumbersome setting up the table saw, circular saw or chop saw for PLUS, there are places where I can get a blade in JUST far enough to PULL cut, but have no room to PUSH cut. A good investment, nice to have tool for the home - or other - workshop.

Excellent saws for working with hardwood.
This pull saw is just as described and a much better version than I purchased a few years ago.

Nice little hand saw
This is a great little hand saw. I've used it several times now since I received it and it works beautifully. It was a little thinner than I thought it was going to be, but if you go slow it cuts very well

Sharp cuts clean
Well constructed. Stays sharp. Used it to cut through oak. Sliced through with ease without hang up. Good quality blade.

Excellent quality! Great price!
Excellent quality Japanese saws at a very fair price! Saws come with a link to training videos to help with hand cut joinery using their saws. Videos are fantastic and a great help if you are new to hand cut joinery. I have their dovetail, crosscut, and flush trim saws as well and they are all fantastic.

Es una herramienta de calidad, pero no iguala la de suizan japonesa que además tiene un precio mucho menor

I've had this a little while now before reviewing it. I'm no DIY god or the like but I've had recent reason to be cutting up some various blocks of wood for small 'fixes' around the house and I got this not being familiar with this kind of straight handled saw style and not sure how it would work. It's priced at AU$64.80 now and I've spent more than that on saws that were junk, so I wasn't really expecting much. What I can say is that for the small things I was doing with it, it made the work easy as can be. It seemed to cut so smoothly compared to most saws I've used and left a lovely clean cut more like a power saw than a hand saw. (This is where all astute DIYers and experienced carpenters are groaning at me know I'm sure) It seems like a quality level above what I'll need given how little such work I do but it surprised me at how useful it was the few times I've used it, so I'm very happy to have it.

Scie de qualité, manche en bois avec une belle finition, lame trèsbien affûtée. Reste à voir avec le temps comment cela va vieillir.

This saw is by far the best saw I've used. Living in Canada, I've only used the standard saws, which cut on the push stroke. It wasn't 'til I saw people using pull-saws, that I decided to try one. Seeing a few recommendations online, I opted for one made by Japanese standards of quality. The Japanese are often known for their amazing craftsmanship, and this helped me decide to get this one. It's well packaged and the quality of the product I received was excellent, not to forget, it's super sharp. While using this to flush-cut a dowel, my one hand slipped off and got nicked by the one edge. I am glad it was a sharp saw, and the flesh wound was easily mended and healed. However, had I been any less careful, I would've been missing a finger now. Did I mention this thing is crazy sharp? Lol The grip is nice, not perfect, but made well. I'd suggest getting some grip tape and wrapping the handle, like you would a hockey stick or a tennis racket for better grip while cutting. The saw cuts amazingly well and straight and I never knew how satisfying it could be to cut a piece of wood. I definitely would want to get a few of the other variations, but I'll wait 'til the need arises. Compared to the pull-saws I have found in local hardware stores here, I can tell, they won't cut as nice as this Japanese style saw, because they don't use the same teeth style, nor is the metal, that the blade is made of, the same quality as the Japanese style. If you want to experience the best saw, I highly recommend this saw, it's worth the price.
