Q: Is this a cleanser or should I cleanse + exfoliate first and then apply this as a toner? Or before toner?

This is your exfoliator, so no need for an additional scrub or another chemical exfoliator. If you are new to exfoliating with a BHA this strong, putting on a toner first can help this from penetrating so quickly (which could be a good thing). You can also put your toner on afterwards if you want the fastest exfoliation. If you haven't used a chemical exfoliator in a while, I'd start slowly, every other day. This one is particularly strong. This is NOT a cleanser and should not be washed off. It is also NOT a scrub; it does not contain any abrasive ingredients like walnuts shells or sugars. You should 1) cleanse skin 2) toner (optional) 3) this exfoliator 4) moisturizer suitable for your skin type or daytime sunscreen.

Q: Question: When this product arrived from the seller, did it have a plastic seal or was it wrapped in anything? Mine wasn't, i'm suspicious...

I have been ordering this product for over a year now and mine just arrived yesterday with different packaging, a different cap, and leaked water everywhere after taking off the white lid. It is a completely different consistency than the product usually is, so I'm pretty sure I just paid $30+ for water.

Q: How long did you use them before noticing a difference in improved skin tone, or diminish closed comedones?

My face has never been this soft! It's only been one application. I got this mainly for even skin tone. I can't wait! Feels so clean! Recommend for sure!

Q: Can it be used under makeup ?

Even though it's leave-on, it's still an exfoliator so use it after your cleanser. (If your skin feel greasy after use, you're using to much) Then Moisturizer, after that put your makeup on like normal. Hope that answers your question :)
