These light weight skimmer socks work wonders on keeping the larger stuff from getting to the DE filter. I found that they fit our Hayward skimmer perfectly and hold up over time. They do a great job of catching hair, leaves, bugs and a lot more, allowing us to backwash less and replace the DE less often.

Works great! I change them every 3 days. Fits perfect in standard size skimmer basket. Filters out all the debris going into the skimmer. Didn’t have to backwash our oval above ground pool all summer!

This is an awesome product! Keeps the crap out caught in the skimmer from getting into the pump. So much stuff falling from the trees this time in New England - also filters algae that overtakes my pool this time each year. Great product. Great price. Have shared a couple of these filters with my neighbors who also have pools - and they love them too! (They're also reusable - throw them in the washer and they're good as new!)

Works really well in the skimmer! It collects alot of things and you don't have to stick our hand in there. For the price you can't go wrong!

Didn't know these existed, but now using them for several weeks....... worth every penny keeps my sand filter super clean. Backlash is always clean water since I've put these on the skimmer basket.

The media could not be loaded. Super easy effective solution for keeping pool water clean and saving your filter! We have a cartridge filter and was looking for something to skim the water through before it got To the filer. This picture shows just one day after using. Our water was a little cloudy before we put this on figured it was Just all the sand and dirt mixed into the water. Inexpensive, good quality

I have a inground pool. I doubled these they did work great on catching everything but, after a few weeks our pool turned green. We had our water tested over and over and over kept putting more and more chemicles in it to try to balance it. New filter, new sand hundreds of $$$ worth of chemicles we finally found out the double socks restricted the water flow and we weren't getting enough circulation. Totally took them off and rebalanced the chemicles and were finally back to crystal clear.
