I’ve never smelled LV Afternoon Swim, but this fragrance has been hyped all over social media as being 80-90% similar. I wish I’d had the chance to try the original, but even on its own, this one smells absolutely amazing.I’ve tried Jean Lowe Immortal, which is inspired by LV L’Immensité. That one was okay—its opening was surprisingly close to the original, but the dry-down didn’t match. So, I was curious about this fragrance, and I’m glad I tried it because it smells fresh and clean, like summer in a bottle. It’s like peeling fresh oranges by the pool, it's refreshing and uplifting, especially in the summer heat.I don’t really care about how close this is to the real LV Afternoon Swim; as a standalone cologne, it’s wonderful. It lasted about four hours on my shirt before fading, but I oversprayed or reapplied it. For less than $40, it smells better than some high-end designer colognes.If you’re really curious about how close it is to the real thing, I’d suggest getting a sample decant of LV Afternoon Swim or visiting the store to try it. But if you just want a great, affordable summer fragrance, buy this; you won’t be disappointed by the scent. Just be aware that the longevity isn’t the best, so reapply when needed. I started looking around for something similar and found this and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised!Accuracy 8.9/10Longevity 4/10Projection 6/10My Overall Thoughts:This scent is extremely reminiscent of Afternoon Swim. In fact on the top end it is nearly indistinguishable to my nose. It doesn't mellow down to anything super unique, as much as it seems to just fade. This fragrance (and Afternoon Swim) is extremely basic. It's very citrusy, aquatic, refreshing, and clean. It smells almost exactly like a mandarin orange. The downside is that it lasts about 2 hours on me (about half of what the original lasts on me), which is a bummer but for how inexpensive it is I really don't mind reapplying throughout the day. It projects enough to be smelled in conversation distance when freshly applied, and mellows down to a skin scent an hour in. The bottle is very nice, hefty, and I love the magnetic cap, and at 100ml you won't go through it too quickly.Who/What is this for?:This fragrance is for someone who wants to smell clean, and fresh. It's great for going to the beach or the pool where you already aren't expecting your fragrance to last much longer than an hour or so. It's cool and refreshing, so it's perfect for the summer. Wearable all the time.

I am a fragrance fanatic with over 250 bottles. This, believe it or not, is one of the best. And I’m talking I have $500 bottles of niche scents. If you count my husbands collection we are over 300 bottles. This smells so high end. I believe it’s an exact dupe for LV afternoon swim. The projection and longevity are amazing on this one. You won’t regret blind buying this one!

I’m so glad I did not cancel my order in time. I wanted to cancel after reading other reviews about this fragrance on other sites. This is not a weak fragrance as described by others. This fragrance is not a skin scent after an hour of wearing. I wore this cologne the next day after receiving and used 5 sprays. I do not know what LV Afternoon swim smells like but I do know what Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford smells like and this smells like that. Jean Lowe Azure is strong. It lasts longer than Neroli Portofino. This fragrance was still going strong at the 9 hour mark with a projection of 5 feet. This was a great blind buy with an even better price point. This fragrance will be even better after it macerates.
