Read the reviews. "Wow" "Excelente" "Muy Bueno". That about sums it up. This is truly an exceptional machine and I'm just fully tapping into its full potential. I've had mine a few months now. It was a rough start. The LCD screen was out in one section on the start up test, though this was likely shipping damage. Anycubic was immediately responsive and within 2 emails I had a new LCD replacement kit in a few days. The swap was very easy and I was off and running. I'll note that I've had an Anycubic Photon M3 max for about 3 years. Possibly the best one ever made. I've used it for small scale production of some finished parts, and it has been bulletproof and paid for itself many times over. Just before buying this one, I upgraded it to ACF film, jacked up the print speeds and it was fully next level and I was smitten. Yet even from that point of view, the M7 has totally blown my mind. It prints ridiculously fast. You can't believe it when you see it. Yet it produces mind blowing accuracy. You can only see layer lines on flat surfaces. Anything with texture blends them out and it looks as good as molded. Your prints actually shine. Compared to even my M3 Max on steroids, it effortlessly outperforms it. With the equally amazing Pro2 resin, 12 hour prints barely take 5 now. And they're just gorgeous. Also the build plate is massive. So you can fit even more prints on a plate than even the M3 max. Altogether this slashes time tremendously. So when prints are done there's a little hangy thing for the build plate, and a button in the software that lets you raise the print bed 50mm in one tap. This lets you hang the plate under the platform frame at a diagonal so excess resin drips away quickly. The plate goes on and off easily and the removal process is the same as any resin printer's. BUT THEN...the star of the show. The resin sucker. It has a resin sucker! You go into the post print 'cleanup' menu and tap 'retrieve'. A little tube and sensor drop down and suck the resin out of the vat into the autofill bottle. Its not crazy fast and you have to help steer the resin towards it with a spatula a bit, but it will eventually suck the resin vat almost completely dry. The cleanup from there is negligible. Its amazing. I dump the resin from my M3 in there too. 95% hands free cleanup. The flip down lid is a great touch too. The cover for my M3 Max is huge and I never have anywhere to put it when I open it. This one flips pretty easy and stays up when you want it to. It also drowns out pretty much all of the motor noise. That said the internal exhaust fans on this printer are definitely loud. Overall its louder than my M3. Not offensive, and not as loud as an FDM printer, but definitely noticeable. As far as software interface goes, I admit to having my own weird preferences about things, but overall the software is pretty solid. I never had any issue intuitively finding the features or settings I wanted, and most everything is explained. Same with the Workshop software. I was pretty used to the M3s Workshop and didn't feel great about the new version at first, but its actually much better once you get into it. Slightly less user friendly (to me), but far more capable. Once you get the hang of it its powerful. I really just have almost no complaints about this printer. Besides that the wash station is kinda junk, but that's a different review. I can't yet speak to its durability, but the durability of my last one paid for this one, so I'm optimistic. For the price, this machine is just so capable and powerful it reminds you you live in epic times! Get this thing and get ready for some BIG fun.

[Update 03/2026] Software fails to update; the update text window doesn't have scroll bars which makes reading the update details impossible. The software is still horrible to work with, it's hard to believe it was released in this state. You're still forced to login to their website to print locally, can't access 'workshop' without doing that. It seems AnyCubic wiped user account passwords on their site without notification to the users, not a big deal but annoying nonetheless. Sites like Meshy and other 3d modeling sites do not support AnyCubic for some reason which is another reason to not buy this printer or use the AnyCubic software. Printer: I've had it for since 07/2025, printed roughly 6 small items, fast forward 8 months, I use the printer about once every 3 months for little things. It has hardware related problems, it's a ton of work from start to finish. It's not worth the price or effort involved. I would not have purchased this 3D printer had I known how bad it is. [Initial experience] Fairly easy to setup since I watched a youtube video prior to opening the box, not many parts to deal with. Weighs a ton, very heavy printer while it's in the packaging/box, not so bad outside the packaging but still heavy Larger/Taller than expected vertically Able to scale small .stl models to very large size and print in one go, so that's nice. Multiple small part prints not necessary (small printers require you cut the model up into multiple parts for printing, not this monster). [Unexpected] This printer requires a larger bottle of resin so skip the 1KG and go for the next size up, the good thing is that when the print is done, the pump will auto reclaim the unused portion of resin into the original container/bottle. You CAN technically use a 1KG bottle BUT, it will complain and give a warning about 'out of resin', you can safely ignore that if your print is small OR switch out to a 2nd bottle. Very smelly, it's not too bad in a well-ventilated room (AC + ceiling fan), an external vent is really advised, something like what you use for a clothing dryer that vents heat outside. High speed resin is great, but costs ~50% more and also speeds up the print time by ~30 to 50 percent. [The Bad] Photon Workshop Software slicer is poorly implemented, doesn't accurately communicate with the M7 Max. Typically says 'Printing Waiting, unknown reason' BUT the printer is actually printing and working as expected. The software also doesn't allow you to select your resin type, normal, tough, high speed, ect. It's a barebones slicer software, get's the job done but just barely. Strangely AnyCubic's last update for the software was 6/2023 AND it's being hosted on a google drive account. Each update to the software requires a whole new install rather than updating so my settings are getting lost each time. The phone app seems to be the software they want to support and push out. The Photon Workshop software for PC seems to have been abandoned, problem is that I want to use my 52" screen rather than the tiny phone screen when working with the slicer.

Fantastic printer! Prints fast and accurately, the heater and autofill are great options. I’ve printed full size masks, parts for helmets, and miniatures with great detail. I love sending the file directly to the printer via WiFi!

I wish I never bought it. I have been printing for 5 years with elegoo and always wanted a bigger machine. I hoped this would be the machine for me but after 15 prints and not one successful print, I am lost and 3 days over returning it and frustrated. No matter the settings, acf/feps I swap or replace i get terrible results. I dont understand how this machine has 4.2 stars and so many positive reviews. Problems: 1st: The Zaxis plate is so misaligned/installed incorrectly that ita about to take off the resin vat refiller as you can see if the photos. Its actually scrapping the front of it. 2nd: Build plate is and came warped. The build plate is not machined flat. As you can see the light in the photo 3rd: Acf film breaks easily. After 3 prints I had to replace my feb which ripped a small hole. 4th: The Vat refiller does not work. No matter what settings I try to get it to turnon, it refuses to refill the Vat 5th: Adhesion on the plate is extremely poor. After using 80, 120, and 180 on different prints it still does not stick. 6th: It keeps telling me residue detected on a fresh clean tank, plate, and filtered resin Pros: 1st: The wireless printing is nice 2nd: The slicer for anycubic is really nice Overall if I could return this printer I would. I havent had one successful print on this since i got it. No amount of settings I change or tweak I always get a failed print. In fairness, I have not contacted support, but I fear there is so much wrong with it we are in total replacement category. Im not sure im just at a loss. Im really disappointed this $900 machine does not work and came like this from the manufacturer. I saved up to buy this printer. Ive had twins both with rsv right now and been busy and I missed the return window and just frustrated. I plan to reach out to Anycubic for help and will change my review if they help me, but with Quality control letting units out the door like this is disappointing. At the moment I would not recommend buying this machine what so ever. Edit Feb 8th: Anycubic team has actually reached out to me offering to help through amazon. They seem willing to help with parts or replace unit. They emailed me Feb 5th. Will update after they get back with me!

I made this purchase early just after the initial reviews appeared. Overall, the machine is quite exciting. I have printed several large models on a single plate, something that I could not do with my Saturn 3. The build is very solid. The flip up cover is excellent (I will never purchase another resin printer without one). The wifi connectivity is good and the interface of the screen and app are both well-advanced. HOWEVER, I could not make automatic vat heating system work. The vat would heat, but as soon as it reached temperature, it automatically turned off, which makes the feature essentially useless. Readers of Fauxhammer's review and JD3Tech's review have lately reported this problem with their printers and several said they contacted Anycubic about the issue. Apparently Anycubic has been aware of this and has said that it will be rectified. Had I know that a false claim was being made by Anycubic about this important feature, I would not have purchased the machine. Update to review after several firmware updates. I corresponded with Anycubic about the initial vat heating issue. A representative responded almost immediately, and asked for details about my experience. The representative came back to me the next day with responses and asked several additional questions. The vat heating issue was outlined as was the pathway to updating the software to implement vat heating without undue strain on the electrical load. Now, the vat heating issue has been addressed, the most recent firmware update having dropped in April. I have tested the vat heating with all the updates through this one (4.0.9.8). Heating now works well. I did a print for 21 hours yesterday into this morning. The room temperature was 18 C. I had the vat temperature set to 30 C. The temperature slowly dropped to 26.5 C during the burn-in layers. The heater apparently turns off while the light is on (Anycubic had told me that is how they planned to address the problem). Each time the light turned off, the temperature quickly increased 0.3 C, then slowly decreased during the next burn in light-on. Once the burn-in layers were complete the temperature increased back to 30 C (since the light was on only for 1.5 second at a time compared to the 20 seconds it was on for each burn-in layer. Once it was back to 30 C - about 4 layers into the main print, the temp was always between 31 and 31.5 C during the entire time the model was printing. I was quite pleased with the stability. I remain quite pleased with the printer, especially since I usually print large models. For small models I use my Anycubic M4 Ultra. I have changed from the ACF film supplied with the M7 Max, to PFA/FEP since this allows for greater resolution - I use FEP on both of my printers (see for example the Fauxhammer review of the M7 Max on Youtube). Now, if a 16k LCD upgrade kit could be had, this would be a perfect printer.

I prototype parts for invention ideas I have. Most parts I design in CAD end up getting printed on one of my FDM/PLA printers. For smaller, oddly shaped parts, I go to my resin printers, and this one is amazing! Seems very well constructed/engineered. I enjoy the wireless so I can queue jobs without carrying a USB drive or SD card back and forth. I also like that the vat is huge (can hold nearly 2 kg!), which means I don't fill it nearly as often as I have to with my smaller resin printers. But... that said... you really don't want to print one or two small parts on this printer. The print bed is huge, relatively heavy, and awkward to hold while removing parts and cleaning it (I've started hooking it over my large trash can for cleaning). This is a printer you either want to print very large objects on, or a whole bunch of small objects at once, as it's quite a process to clean. I do like that I can hang the print surface at an angle to help with the resin run-off/drip process (when I remember to give it time for such, that is). If you use the hanger, ensure the print bed catches under the screw heads at the back of the head for proper stability (you'll see them when you place the print surface on the hooks)... you certainly don't want that heavy piece slamming into the glass screen! I also like the laser-etched surface of the bed, as part removal is nice and clean, though take care not to damage the nice surface in the process! It comes with a means to automatically empty the vat into a container, and even to automatically add more resin from a container when the vat gets low. Such a feature is probably used by people printing huge/tall objects, but I don't use it for my prototype parts and instead keep mine disconnected since I don't want the cleaning headache of it all. Overall, recommended product for large/tall prints or for bed-filling small prints, but plan to use a smaller printer for those single, small jobs.

I really, REALLY wanted to love this printer. I have a Mono M7, and it is an incredible printer. So after some research (clearly not enough), I decided to purchase this large-format printer. Sadly, I encountered problem after problem, and it ended up coming down to some quality control issues that could not be resolved without a complete swap out of the entire unit. ✅ What I Like: Huge printer, but not a huge footprint. So great for smaller spaces. Power unit is housed inside the unit, so I don't need to find a place for a huge external power brick (like with the Mono M7) Same ecosystem as other Anycubic systems, so the UI is familiar and intuitive. The plastic enclosure is on a rotation mount, so make sure you have enough clearance above the unit and behind it. ⚠️ What Could Be Better: Poor quality control issues. My build plate was not flat and was off by several millimeters. The proposed solution I found for this on several forums and other resources was to sand the plate down. Not something I was looking to do, as this should have been flat from the get-go. The plastic enclosure was offset, so after closing it, I would have to push it over to one side so it would line up to remove the gaps. It would eventually drift back, which suggests some type of bending or other type of misalignment. The resin vats for these are shaped oddly from the bottom. It's a bit hard to explain, but they don't lie flat as expected, and the short ends taper out further from the frame. If you were to place it on a flat surface, there are gaps you can see from the bottom. This is apparent on a replacement vat I purchased as well. It seems like an odd design. Having only seen this on two vats, I can't determine if this is supposed to be designed this way, or if I was just unlucky. The LCD screen itself was off-center. When running exposure tests (during my 3-week troubleshooting session), I found that the LCD screen itself, or at least the picture it displayed, was set to the left side by more than half an inch to where it cut off part of the picture. 💬 Summary: I was so looking forward to using this printer, but I was never able to print anything successfully. I couldn't even get the calibration prints to work, and I spent three weeks trying everything I could (with the exception of grinding my build plate) to get this to print. But I would only get 1 square of an RERF to stick about 20% of the time. I don't think that I should be obligated to grind down my build plate to get something to work, as this is a flaw that should have been detected by the quality control team. It's possible that I had an incredibly flawed unit, and a replacement might have worked, but I was frustrated after nearly a month and gave up. I hope they can fix the issues with this unit, as I would really love to add a large-format printer to my farm. 💡 Final Thoughts: Would I buy it again? No Would I recommend it to others? No

I’ve been a long time Anycubic customer and got the M7 Max for a some short run parts. The printer started out working great. Really good part quality and fast. I ran a print over night and the next day when I came in the printer vat failed and leaked everywhere. Resin inside the printer all over the shelving and floor and other printers that were below it. I reached out to Anycubic and they completely ignored me. Since they told me to kick rocks I will never buy their product again.
