Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda 16-ounces (Pack of 4)

Like lots of people, I have been using Arm & Hammer for years as my at home baking soda, but hadn't realized that it has quite a few things in it that are unnatural, making it not the best product to serve as an all purpose product in your home. Basically, I've gone almost completely organic at home, making sure that all of my products(or as much as I can reasonably buy,) are at least a bit organic or natural. This Bob's Red Mill Baking soda is absolutely amazing. In terms of cleaning or deodorizing, the results seem to be about the same, but, I've started using it as toothpaste and deodorant for my skin, and I notice HUGE differences in its effective qualities and the way it works for my body. When I use it on my skin, I don't feel any harsh reaction, it feels as natural as baby powder. I also use it for baking, usually I mix it with a little of my Citric Acid Powder - Ultra Fine Pure Powdered Crystals - Natural Preservative Food Grade Quality (16 oz) , and I get a great result, super clean flavors that really bring out the essence of whatever I'm baking. A side note: citric acid is another product that, like baking soda, can be used for so many things. I originally purchased this one bag for making bath bombs at home, and since I've gotten it I have used it for baking, making cheese, fruit salads, smoothies, cleaning my kitchen and bathroom, and flushing out bad smells in my garbage disposal. Talk about all purpose! Anyway, I definitely recommend buying this baking soda, especially if you want to fill your home with natural products.

i consider this brand to be a cut above the Arm and Hammer brand so I but by the case of 4. I take a teaspoon morning and night in 3/4 cup of distilled water to keep my body in an alkaline state. also haven't had to take Prevesid for reflux since starting this regimen.This boosts your immune system and you cannot catch cold or CANCER if you do Keep your body out of an acid state and in a predominantly alkaline state. This is much simpler than looking up the foods that are alkaline. I've waited for this magical substance for many years and it was there all the time! When Arm and Hammer first came out many yrs ago, they gave you an accompanying booklet to advise the reader of the serious conditions it could help, or outright put an end to but now all you hear is put an open box in the fridge or garbage can to freshen the odor. Try it out, what's to lose except illnesses at a very reasonable price! it's no small miracle! Best of luck, and, good health to all! Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Great baking soda!! I don't really trust Arm and Hammer's practices. It's super soft and fine and can be used for SO MUCH. I have sprinkled it on my carpet to freshen every now and again, and use it in my hair to cleanse about once a week. Have stopped using shampoo and conditioner as my hair gets gunky from a lot of them!! My hair feels soft and smooth after just rubbing a bunch of baking soda in and rinsing!). As I have discovered I don't really need to cleanse my hair more than about once a week, and conditioner can actually lead to a dry scalp by stopping us from producing our natural oils. It's an ultra low maintenance and priced beauty regimen!! It also works for a gentle calming scrub/facial for people with breakouts so long as you don't scrub too often! It can be used to rinse the mouth with and freshen breath too...along with so many many other uses...baking soda is groovy!!
