Awesome features and "fit and finish" in a 5' bar.
Love this bar. A seven footer just does not work for my workout space, unless I engage super human stability and control over the bar. To maximize my safety factor, I went with a 5 foot bar. A lot of other manufacturers skimp on the lower end/shorter bars: they leave visible play in the sleeve, and have crap bearings/bushings. Ivanko does not seem to have skimped with this. I would not consider the Ivanko a lower end bar. (it is one of their least expensive bars, but it is not built cheaply) the coating / finish / assembly (fit and finish) are awesome. The black coating is even and is durable so far, knurled grip is crisply cut and provides good grip. Bushings are smooth, sleeves fit firmly and move freely. What can I say? Love the bar.

Amazing quality of Ivanko brand, and even better customer service.. Do NOT hesitate and buy this bar, you would NOT regret it. This is the "Apple" brand of the weightlifting equipment world, if you want the bect quality, you buy Ivanko. Not to mention they customer service is top notch - they will respond to your messages within hours, and absolutely resolve ANY issues you have with the product. 5/5 would buy more Ivanko branded items in the future!

Affordable bar for this high quality
I love this bar! The quality is really unmatched. I’ve never had a black bar so I was taking a little chance on this. Turns out, I like it. My main comment is about the knurl. Some bars have inadequate knurling making me wonder why they bothered. Other bars have wicked knurling that pulls your skin off. The Ivanko has perfect knurling that gives you a secure hold and makes you forget it’s there, as it should be. The length is great for me since I live in a small space.
