METHOD ALL PURPOSE FLOOR CLEANER SQUIRT AND MOP

I clean my (old) tiled kitchen and utility floors with a steam cleaner which is, in my opinion, the best way to clean hard floors deeply and without any consumable cost except the small amount of electricity required to heat the water to steam. However the one drawback to this way of cleaning floors is the warm-up time the steamer needs (around 15-20 minutes for my Kärcher). That's fine during normal housework because you simply set the steamer heating up and continue with other things in the meantime. However, if you need to clean your floor on an emergency basis (unexpected guests coming in the next quarter of an hour, a cat casually leaving a trail of muddy pawprints, etc.) then you need something quick and effective. This Method Squirt & Mop is definitely the answer. I always have a microfibre cloth ready attached to a 'Swiffer' type cleaning tool in the cleaning cupboard, and I just grab that and the Squirt & Mop, and Go, Go, Go! The floor virtually dries as you mop - just squirt some cleaner on the floor and wipe with a backwards and forwards motion - and the floor looks and smells clean instantly. The smell of all the Method products ranges from very mildly pleasant through to almost addictive (I love the smell of their Wood Polish Spray), and the Squirt & Mop smell is at the mildly pleasant end. People are aware that your floor has been newly cleaned, but there is no overpowering smell, particularly no throat-catching chemical smell. I think it would work out as expensive to use Squirt & Mop for all your hard floor cleaning all the time. (Unless you've got very small floors - or for caravans and other confined spaces where you need to clean the floor well but certainly don't want any lingering harsh and/or overpowering smell, and where you may well need to go up the walls (as it were) a little, you couldn't do better than this cleaning fluid.) For 'emergency' use, however, this is definitely The Goods - and it's environmentally-friendly into the bargain. 26 October 2016 - With reference to my remarks about expense, I've found that if you decant the floor cleaner into a trigger spray bottle (as are available here on Amazon from Shiny Hardware Limited), it goes much further. This would, in fact, make the Method floor cleaner sufficiently economical to use on a regular basis.

Brilliant floor cleaner my floors looks fab I use it on tiles and laminate no streaks smells fresh it’s eco friendly too easy to use just spray and mop not sticky no residue floors still look good the next day I do have a mop bucket with some hot water in to rinse the mop as I go from room to room

Love this, smells great and works everywhere, used all over the kitchen, (except sink) even the floor after a muddy dog, goes a long way and so good value.

Good floor cleaner; i like the smell and size. Really easy to use and eco friendly. I would say, if bought in sale, is a good value for money, it comes in 3 packs and is long lasting. It will leave you floor smell nice.

I gave a 5 star for the product as it’s lovely I usually have the rhubarb one which smells amazing so thought i would try this one, iv still yet to revive this one but that’s due to Thad couriers. It cleans the floor but cant smell ginger or lemon, disappointed. Packed very well and good price. I thought I would use this one instead of the pink one for a change. Unless the supplier gets a little more fragrance in the bottle I will not buy this again I will stick with the pink. I do not like very strong fragrance but like to smell a bit.

I like this stuff so much, I buy it in bulk (6 at a time). I'm an old fashioned kind of girl, and I really like to clean my tile floors by hand. Nothing compares! Instead of filling up a bucket for this chore, I prefer the method squirt & mop. I squirt it directly onto the floor, then wipe with a wet cloth. The amount of DIRT that gets picked up is incredible. The smell is lovely- a very light lemon ginger scent. This product leaves no residue - we walk around our house in socks and once the floor dries after cleaning it just feels clean and smooth (not tacky like some other floor cleaners leave your floors feeling.) The results speak for themselves. This product works really well - plus it is a Method product so I trust it around my pets. It's non-toxic and biodegradable which is SO important, ESPECIALLY if you have pets or kids! The bottle has a unique nozzle that kind of fans the product out as you squirt it - it doesn't just make a big puddle, it actually distributes well. Overall, from packaging to scent and results, this is a five star product. Highly recommend.

I've finally found a product that's great to use and works very well. It's efficient the squirt application as I have birds that leave a stick mess, which requires constant cleaning. 1 squirt of this floor cleaner, leave it soak a min or so and it simply comes off with out requiring any scrubbing or effort. Very happy & I order this on subscription so it's delivered every few weeks. Thank you Amazon, the subscription saves me dollars and time. No need to lug this home from the supermarket.
