Great Gift for Grandson
He went right to work on it. First one, the T-Rex came out well and works. Will he start on a second variation? Time will tell.

These kits are suspect for quality!!
These are very cheaply made and are flimsy !! They do not reflect the usual high standards previously seen in a Siilibird building kit! I am returning the one that has not been gifted yet! So disappointed!!

A cute robot!
Cute item, and my grandson had fun putting it together, but it somehow only worked for a minute and stopped. The company sent a new part to fix it so I’m happy about that. He doesn’t play with it very much though.

My son liked it alot. Although he is 7 but he could do almost all of it. It has some small detail needs help. The battry is rechargable which is so great.

Robot pieces all there and was easy to build and my child had no problem with the instructions. The bags don’t correspond to the steps so just better to take everything out in the beginning. The remote control works. Unfortunately the app does not work. I bought it for the coding potential so that was a huge problem for me. The app keeps trying to connect to the robot but can never actually connect via my Bluetooth. So just a remote control robot. If you expect a LEGO like robot that can move around with remote control then it’s 5 stars. If like me you are buying it for coding a robot to move by itself then it’s a huge disappointment

Great product, but having to modify the wiring because cables are too short is really disappointing. It simply cannot be assembled the way the picture shows it. The cable going from the controller to the head (eyes) is so short that it's almost impossible to connect.

I bought two of these, one for an 8 1/2-year-old girl, and the other for her 7-year old brother. They already are still enjoying playing with some pre-assembled robots I gave them that were suitable when they were a bit younger; so they have experience using the software for those robots and are ready to move up a bit. Their school also teaches them some basic programming so they are ready to handle this higher-level software. They will both need a bit of help building it from their dad, but he enjoys robots too. Both kids are delighted with the toys and immediately said, "Now we can have robot wars!" These toys are good for enjoyment, but also for developing skills in robotics and programming.

Well, I bought this for my daughter. We played with the Lego version before and it really didn't do much so I thought I should give this thing a try. I also bought the Sphero mini almost on the same day. My daughter and I had spent about 2 hours to assemble the robot. It wasn't too bad. I just wish they could do a better color matching job in the assembly instruction. The "lego-like" bricks are in high quality and they are totally 100% compatible to lego. That was a good thing. Anyway, I got that assembled, and I charged the robot overnight. The next day, I went ahead to install the apps. First thing I noticed, the "mould" apps wasn't listed in the Google play store. Then I had to scan that QR code thing in the assembly manual and it brought me to the apps website. Then I downloaded the apps to my Lenovo M10 tablet. It asked you for permission for whole bunch of things including sharing your contacts, phone calls and call history (I don't understand why they need that). Anyway, I denied most of them. Then the apps wouldn't start. Then I installed the apps to my Lenovo A10 (which has no personal information in it). This time I just gave permission to everything. Then the apps finally started. However, I could not connect to the robot and I have tried many times. Well that really suck. Then I installed the apps to my iPad....then it worked finally. After a few tries, it connected to the robot using the "remote control" mode. The voice control never worked for me. When I used the programming mode (that was what I bought this robot for), I got that connected after a few tries. After that, it stopped working... Man, it really sucks. My other purchase Sphero mini is just rock solid. The apps runs smoothly and I can run that in all the tablets & phones I have. It never has any connection issue. I gave it 2 stars as it is not completely worthless. At least the remote control works for me. It is just like another lego set.
