Grinds wonderfully!
The action is smooth, and easy to grind. My herb gets broken down in no time! The two teeth slides are magnetic and separate easily while also holding together very, VERY well. The extra “tray” holds well and I found to be useful. The whole thing is surprisingly nice and compact, and it’s the best one I’ve owned! Can’t recommend enough.

A good little grinder
I was sick of plastic grinders so wanted to find a cheap metal one to try it out. It works exactly how you would expect, and the scraper was a cute little bonus which will come in handy to keep it clean.A great price for a great little grinder 👍

Homegrown Catnip
I recently finished growing some catnip for my little man cat named Magnum. He's never taken any interest to bought catnip like those wall spinners and filled toys but after I had finished drying a couple big stalks of leaves from the largest ones I grew, he took a big interest and seemed to love them so I needed something to quickly grind the dried stalks & leaves up.Ideally, I would need a mortar and pestle as this would make a fine grind even if the leaves are still ever so slightly wet. But with the price this grinder was and the fact I didn't really need to grind anything else yet, this would do.Putting the grinder together out of the box, I noticed how good the quality was. The whole grinder is solid aluminium and the only plastic is a little slip ring so it grinds smoothly. The pollen mesh is steel and it comes with a scraper. As its solid metal, cleaning is very easy.Happy to say that it was able to grind up everything into a uniform grind and it only struggled with the thicker stems which I simply cut up smaller before putting into the grinder. The only downside is that it's slower than a mortar and pestle as I can only load in what fits and it'll fill after maybe 2 or 3 loads.I put the grind of catnip into a couple of Magnums toys he likes and he takes them everywhere now. To bed, to eat next to his dish, and to play.In summary, this grinder is great value for the build quality and it's primary function. I highly recommend if what you want to grind is similar to what I needed it for.

3 years later
Bought exactly 3 years ago in October 2021, writing this as it’s time for me to buy a new grinder because I broke it cleaning the screen. This grinder has been used basically daily for the past 3 years. It really held up to daily wear and tear. As you can see, the paint has come off the outside alongside some other scratches, but that’s to be expected.Considering I’ve never cleaned it with liquid and only scraped off condensed bits it still works perfectly. I wouldn’t say the teeth are dull yet. The chamber fits about a gram/gram and a bit.The screen got a bit clogged but that was my fault for not cleaning it. Overall very worth it. Probably best metal grinder for the price!

Very sturdy but doesn't like big clumps
This thing feels apocalypse-proof. 10,000 years into the future, the humanoid creatures who evolved from cockroaches and replaced us as the dominant lifeform on this planet will find these grinders and assume they were some kind of weapon. But, as a grinder... ehhh, it's not the worst I've ever used, that's for sure. But there is a lot of fishing out clumps that get caught between the teeth, putting them back in and re-grinding. That's always going to happen occasionally but it's a bit more regular than I'd like.
