I have always been a sunscreen fanatic being fair and living on the west coast all my life. While I don't agree with the fear inducing claims that people should fear for their lives God forbid stepping out a second in the sun not slathered in spf even when inside, the times I do wear spf face or body typically wheb outdoors for hours whether hiking trips etc finding a quality and easily wearable variety is like the equivalent of a lottery win for many. Those who can use any products can slap on anything thick pasty spf and have no issues however I have always had fussy skin only wheb it comes to spf. This has been frustrating as I put alot of work and consistency into skincare since my teens to age well and the second I would slap on an spf moisturizer within a dsy it would ruin all the hard work keeping my skin clear and balanced which was gut wrenching. Chemical spfs are the thinner slightly more wearable varieties even with the US not having as cosmetically elegant formulas as other countries but chemical spfs are also endlessly preached to be unhealthy and causing disease or not protecting as well from the sun. However what great alternate do we have when physical zinc mineral spfs are preached as the health holy grail if you ate lucky enough to be able to tolerate them but for most like me not onky do they all feel like sticky goofy masks that within hours make my face oily but also even within a day cause insane congestion and leave me with weeks of getting my skin clear snd balanced again after using even a few days. Even being fair I have noted some mineral sunscreens are too chalky even for me lol. To date the best face spfs I use day to day running errands in and out of car at most minutes I uae Korean or Japanese spfs per how light and moisturizer consistency they are. The filters other countries use are much better quality even if chemical and some formulas are physical and chemical mix. I have tried new formulas from top brands here for years when promised of lightweight mineral exist and even when they have looked good on paper have been baffled by glowing reviews when they are just as greasy, heavy, and pore clogging as the waxy goofy varieties. When I ran across Sol Labs randomly in an ad I was beyond skeptical considering the hundreds of spfs I've tried but as I was able to find this product on Amazon with a return option if things didn't work out I decided to take the gamble. So glad I did as truly impressed with the lightweight Whipped consistency, fresh non cloyong non typical sunscreen smell, and how the whiteness goes away within seconds of massaging it in no matter how much you use among leaving behind no oiliness or greasineas that required waiting 20 minutes to go away and never does like just about all mineral. It truly reminded me of the Korean Spf formulas of drying down instantly with just a natural fresh glow feel like a basic moisturizer and no feel of congestion starting under the skin or oiliness building up in the tone area. I typically use spf50 but for daily basic use I don't mind at all with the amazing formula because this is the ONLY brand between drugstore, spa, medical, high end, department store I've tried that lives up to their promises. Why in 2024 a wearable mineral spf that doesn't feel absolutely gross existing is so difficult in even a handful of brands put of the thousands on the market is beyond me but I finally found the one and only in the US. Don't hesitate and absolutely great deal because anyone complaining about price must me coming from using cheap drugstore formulas that double for body and cost under $10. Those with fussy skin are beyond used to buying facial spf where most formulas are $15- $50 for just 1-2oz. So $36 for a 4oz formula this good with such an elegant light formula is really a steal as long as the company maintains the quality formulas they have and don't sell out to bigger mainstream companies that cut costs/change formulas to mass produce as has happened to so many small natural family friends I used to use in the past sadly! 🖤🖤🖤

After decades of having my holy grail sunscreen moisturizers discontinued or reformulated, it was exciting to find this little gem that appeared to fulfill my seemingly simple needs: mineral filters that include titanium dioxide (all zinc formulas make my skin very unhappy for some reason), as with all humans the dreaded no white cast, and at least some measure of moisture to counter the drying effects of these mineral filters. Unfortunately, after 2 weeks of wear it was clear that my 55-year-old dry and sensitive skin was not going to make friends with this moisturizer, which was truly disappointing. My skin tone is pale neutral/ Olive and I experienced no white cast whatsoever when applying 1/4 teaspoon for my face and neck. And this product is actually moisturizing without being greasy! It absorbs beautifully, and doesn't have that heavy moisturizer with sunscreen feel. It was so lovely to have found something that worked! Or so I thought. Every time I applied it, I could have sworn I smelled chemical sunscreen ingredients. Despite reading and rereading the ingredients list, the scent was there. There's no question that the fragrant oils and extracts are the cause of this (I've never had issues with any of the listed oils, nor niacinamide), and likely the cause of the skin reaction that followed. It was a pretty thorough reaction: bumps, redness, burning, irritation, the whole gang showed up. And it sucked, because this is a really great product if you don't have sensitive skin. And that's why I gave it five stars, because if my skin weren't so reactive, this would have absolutely been a holy grail. INGREDIENTS: Zinc Oxide 10% Titanium Dioxide 3% Water, Zinc Oxide, Aloe Vera Extract, Glycerin, Shea Butter, Niacinamide, Butylene Glycol, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Titanium Dioxide, Jojoba Oil, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Sunflower Oil, Centella Asiatica Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Spanish Sage Extract, Camellia Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Xanthan Gum, Astaxanthin, Sandalwood Oil, Ethylhexyl Glycerin

I bought this specifically to use on my face as other sunscreens burn my eyes as the day rolls along. I have used mineral sunscreens that are difficult to put on, are messy and leave you looking blue.....they also don't clean off well. However, this product is completely different and I love it. Just got back from two weeks in Florida and did not burn at all....in fact, came home with a nice tan. I would apply in the condo before going out and about four times throughout the day while out on the beach. I have also ordered some to have on hand at home too. Smooth and creamy, moisturizing, cleans off easy at the end of the day. I love it!!!

I’m skeptical if this works because I’m brown skinned but it looks and feels great! I’ve tried a lot of mineral face sunscreen brands and they’ve all been awful but this feels and looks like a normal face lotion! Not oily and no white cast. Smells nice and is light weight but moisturizing! I wish there was third party testing and a EWG score but until I hear something bad, I’ll be using this daily! I even reapply many times in a day and don’t break out!

I really liked the way this feels on my skin not thick and heavy smells pretty good too only thing is not sure how well it works against the sun. I only used it sparingly on light days of outside activity. I do like the ingredients.
