I was having issue with trigger finger so ordered this. It was an amazing change and helped the trigger finger issue a lot. Would recommend for people with trigger finger issues.

Overall, this finger splint does the job and is comfortable; however, the velcro (especially the bit that holds the wrist strap together) is very weak. This leads to the splint often coming undone at night and falling off. Not sure why they skimped out on the cheap, one-sided velcro there. I will probably need to end up sewing on a strip of real velcro to solve this.

This was a perfect solution to stabilize what's sometimes called a "boxers knuckle." (This particular injury was a Subluxation of the tendon. I think "boxers knuckle" can include other injuries as well.) At any rate, his first (fist) knuckle needed to be stabilized. Based on the product photo we had intended to cut the brace "finger" back so it would only reach the middle knuckle. As it turns out, we didn't need to, because the brace was exactly the right length for what he needed. He has a normal sized adult hand. (Photo's attached) Also, he wears in on the inside of his hand, not the outside. The metal part of the brace is sturdy, but it CAN be bent to better form to the palm of your hand. That said, we're buying another one so he can have one that fits the position of his hand while using his computer mouse, and another one for whatever else he's doing. (The brace is bendable, but not so easily bendable that you'd want to keep changing it.) A very good solution to an unfortunate situation.
