This is our first espresso machine and seems well made and it is a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a machine.

For the money this is a great espresso maker but I've never been able to get the bars higher than 5 so I am not sure the extraction is to its highest capacity. The cleaning cycles seem to come on too frequently.

The media could not be loaded. Like I said, first impression was not good:1. It looked bigger and bulky2. Most of it is plastic with silver paint3. To fill the water tank (if you have upper kitchen cabinets), you’ll need to pull the machine away from the wall, as the tank can't be removed from the front or sides.4. 20 BARS is just advertising, it is the max on the gauge but the machine never reaches that. If you are lucky you get 12 BARS.My first attempts at making espresso were a disaster! Sometimes only few drops of water came through the funnel, machine stopped and all buttons started blinking. In other occasions it would go through but no creamy foam formed on the coffee.But then I talked to a professional barista and he explained that I may run into the same problems even if I buy comparable Breville machine (that is twice the price)! So I decided to try again and here is how to make it work:1. Buy only fresh coffee - it helps create a rich, creamy crema on top.2. If you're using whole beans, keep the grinder set between 13 and 15 (Anything bellow 13 makes it so dense that water does not go through and machine stops working and starts blinking)3. Use the single-wall cup (or 2 cup) and fill it to the max sign. It is really important to fill it to the MAX sign.4. If you are using PRE GROUND coffee (e.g. breakfast blend from Starbucks), use the double-wall cup filter to create the right pressure.It wasn' t easy to figure this machine out, but once you do it is a keeper (considering the price).

Why did you pick this product vs others?:O stars but I had to do at least one to leave a review. I wanted to buy a breville but it was on the more expensive side. So I decided this one would be comparable for a fraction of the price. Big mistake. Had it for about 2 weeks. The gauge stopped working. The coffee pod/arm filled up with a lot of water and overflowed. Only had the creaminess of the expresso about twice, then it was all water. I should have just gone with the breville. Do not buy. I returned it today.

So far, really like this machine. Instructions are not very well written, so might need to google some instructions and definitely how to clean the machine. I followed the instructions- again not well written and the clean/descale light is still on after trying to follow the instructions 3 times (but machine is still allowing me to use- so . . .

Buy far one of my favorite purchases! Best expresso machine

I’m liking this so far since purchasing, however the clean/ descale light won’t turn off after following all directions to clean, no result on light clearing. Bought this less than a year

Love it! Learning to clean it was a bit difficult and the steam wand is alittle weak but it does a great job.
