I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect small tech organizer, and after trying the Peak Design Tech Pouch and the AER Cable Kit 2, I decided to give the Alpaka Mini Tech Case (Black) a shot—and I’m really glad I did.Right out of the box, the build quality stands out. The material feels extremely durable and rugged, easily comparable to (if not tougher than) both Peak Design and AER. While I haven’t submerged it, I did prove to be water resistant as I was caught in rain and everything inside stayed bone dry. So I can confidently say it’s very water-resistant for everyday conditions.Size-wise, it hits a sweet spot—more compact than the Peak Design pouch, but with clever internal organization that still allows you to pack a surprising amount. I was able to comfortably fit a slim 10,000mAh battery bank, Sof-T Tourniquet, NAR Chest Seal Pair, Folding Knife, Ferro Rod, Fire Tinder, Sawyer Squeeze, emergency blanket & poncho, and many more EDC essentials like charging cables, earbuds, a USB wall charger, nail clippers, and tweezers. It holds quite a bit without becoming bulky.Compared to the AER, the Alpaka is more pocketable and travel-friendly, making it ideal for EDC or slipping into a backpack without taking up too much space. It’s also noticeably lighter, which is great when trying to keep your load minimal.You should know that the Alpaka Tech Case Mini does come with the Mini Pro Strap. Took this to Japan. Held wallet, passports, phone, external battery, tissues, eye drops and other misc items very well. It is small but very portable and comfortable. Clean lines, looked fashionable and functional. Will use this for more trips!

I recently purchased this to bring on a trip with me for work and then vacation. I usually just throw my cables, charging bricks, and gear in the pockets that my bag has. This isn't usually bad but it's not always ideal. I never thought to get just a pouch that could store everything since my bags all cater to someone like me, but this really did increase my organizational capability and by extension, my efficiency. The build quality is excellent, I could store what I needed, and I could find it all quickly.

This could have been a nearly perfect bag for me if not for the ridiculously tiny pockets in the inner zip. I was specifically pleased by the feature of being able to organize smaller things that I didn't need all the time, but you can barely put a small tube of lip balm in there and zip it back up after.It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out the buckle

Bag is really small and the release button on the strap does not work. It is jammed shut and is obviously broken
