Fixed it....
Old mirror had fallen out. New mirror fit and installed with no problem. Easy fix

may not be the same shape.
It was not the same size or shape as the original that came off of the Passat. It did fit in the mirror case just not an exact fit.

adhesive sticker sucks
not secure at all. But if it is for a temporary use works perfect

Sticks onto old mirror
I bought this not realizing that it is meant to stick on the old mirror. Correct shape, but I wanted the mirror replacement with the backing, not an adhesive.

Fit great. Just added more double sided tape.

Did its job
I used gorilla glue to adhere, not sure that's recommended but it worked.

Easy and quality
Incredibly easy to put on and stays adhered to. My mirror had come completely off so I just stuck it on according to directions. It has been about three months and it has continued to stay on without any issues

Great!!!
Broke my original mirror on a trash can. The hardest part was scrapping off the original remaining shards of glass. After that is was a piece of cake. Adhesive looked like it might not last but two months later and it’s still going strong. Would purchase again.
