Nice cover. People complaining about it scratching easily, ignore this its part and parcel of leather. If you don’t want that then don’t buy a leather cover. Simple as that. The smaller “scratches” add to the leather look of it. I’ve had it close to 12 months and it’s fine. Has protected the kindle so it’s doing its job. It’s still in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend. Bit expensive for what it is.

I decided to upgrade my reading experience after getting back into reading on my Kindle Oasis. I liked the idea of a colour screen and seeing my book covers pop in colour, so I chose the Signature Edition Coloursoft. It's a tad heavier than my Oasis, but much faster response and navigating menus feels much slicker and smoother. I read other people's comments on issues with earlier coloursoft devices, but I'm happy to report my device is perfect. No yellow strip, no fuzzy text which I looked for when I switched from my Oasis. The screen is clear, easy to read and use and navigating my library and being able to see my book covers in colour makes finding the book I want super easy. I'm very happy I chose to upgrade to the coloursoft! I've not had it long enough to comment on battery life yet but after reading on it for a few days following a full charge, it's still over 94%.

This is high quality. It looks great. It gives the kindle a nice feel and grip without too much bulkiness. The cover snugly folds back latching on magnetically to the back of the case while reading (tidy). The cover wakes and sleeps the display automatically. This is an each 5 stars and for me, worth the extra cost compared to the less expensive offerings.

This is a lovely case which it should be at the premium price of nearly £60. You can smell the leather and it has a nice soft feel to it. I have knocked it down a stars because of the small v shaped scratch mark straight out the box and how easily marked it gets. I know it will get them over time and will get the patina as time goes on but for the price I paid, I would have liked it to have no marks or scratches on arrival. I would have sent it back but brought it to protect my new kindle colour soft and I am assuming the replacement will probably also have the same issues. I think it’s a nice case but the price is a little high for what you get and only time will tell if it will hold up or look a mess is a few months time. The previous leather kindle case seemed more hard wearing and was £20 cheaper than this version. Time will tell if I will find it better than that one or not. After now using it for a few days I can say that even being very careful there is a lot more marks on it but the older ones seem to fade the more you use the case. I still think it’s a very nice case but would be happier with it if it was priced £40-£50

Excellent leather Kindle cover. Very highly recommended.

Bought together with a new Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, I was hopeful for this cover after reading the description and reviews. Unfortunately the one I received had a very noticeable mark on the front cover immediately after carefully removing it from its protective sleeve. It wasn't just a case of 'smoothing the nap' to remove the mark. Gentle brushing with a finger in any direction had no effect on it, and I suspect it would mark very badly in use. Reading the one star reviews I now notice a lot of negatives about both the quality of the leather, and how incredibly thin it is. I was expecting soft nappa like leather but got what I would describe as very short pile suede. As such I have decided to return this for a refund and buy an alternative. It honestly isn't worth nearly £60. Even £10 would be a stretch.

The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite and Colorsoft Case is fantastic! It fits perfectly, keeps my Kindle safe from scratches and bumps, and feels soft yet durable. The design is sleek, lightweight, and makes holding the device comfortable for long reading sessions. A must-have accessory for anyone who wants to protect their Kindle in style — highly recommend!

This case fits the Colorsoft Signature edition perfectly. I had however hoped for a softer leather type, as this kind of hard nubuck leather is extremely susceptible to marks, scratches, oily fingertips etc. It will probably take many months of daily use before the leather starts looking even halfway good. Right now, after a couple weeks of light use, it just looks kinda filthy and weird. All-in-all a decent Kindle case, but the initial look is quite disappointing. Not to mention it's dramatically overpriced.

Cet étui en coloris rouge rubis est tout simplement magnifique. Il apporte une vraie touche de caractère à la Kindle, tout en restant élégant et discret. La qualité du cuir est excellente, avec une odeur très agréable qui renforce ce côté premium. Dès qu’on prend la liseuse en main, on sent que l’objet devient spécial. Attention, c’est du cuir, donc oui ça marque facilement et la couleur va patiner avec le temps, mais c’est justement ce qui fait tout le charme de cette matière. Un détail important : le rabat se fixe magnétiquement aussi à l’arrière lorsqu’il est replié, ce qui le maintient parfaitement en place pendant la lecture, un vrai plus pour le confort d’utilisation. Et bonne surprise, la fonction ‘double tap’ à l’arrière pour tourner les pages reste fonctionnel, même avec l’étui replié (mais c’est commun à tous les étuis à priori). Je ne regrette absolument pas cet achat. Alors oui, le prix est élevé (trop même), mais si vous pouvez vous le permettre, vous ne serez pas déçu.

This cover is *almost* perfect. The texture and the feel are great. The fact that it gets patina from use, is a feature, not a bug. It adds just the right amount of thickness without making it bulky. It fits the Kindle like a glove and folds over for use great and protects the front amazingly well in my bag. I say almost perfect because I would have preferred some sort of stand feature, but I don't miss it. It is very minimalist by design and feels premium in hand. It looks great and I get asked questions about it from co-workers when they notice it on my desk. I still give it a 5 star rating because it made very well and does exactly what it is meant to do without bells and whistles. I just use a food out stand on my desk for a phone or tablet if I wand the hands free experience. It is a bit pricey, but I got one of the like new ones for less than half and I couldn't be happier about that. It was a customer return, but I honestly don't think they used it at all. I got it for my Colosoft Kindle and if you are investing that much in an e-reader, this is a small investment in its protection and overall esthetics. I tried a few other cases and NONE of them close to the feel and look of this one.

It can be uncomfortable to hold. I would suggest it needs an index finger saddle on the face, that when the leaf is folded back there is a spot for your right index finger on the back side. I realize this is a problem because the position for a right handed person and a left handed person is different. Perhaps it could be a third party add on that clips to the front leaf.
