Quite impressed with this kit really.Simple and easy to follow instructions, great that it comes with the rolling mat too and it just tasted really nice at the end. Will purchase again.

Really good starter pack everything you needed and good instructions.

Great kit with the things you need to learn how to make sushi - rice, rice vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, 2 nori sheets, wasabi paste and a mat. We just added our own fillings, and it was quite easy yo learn how to do the sushi rolls. Fun activity! Please note though, that this is only for two portions. Next time you want to make sushi, you will need to buy the ingredients again. You can still re-use the mat.

Good kit but we didn’t want the big sushi so we made the smaller version as instructed by cutting the Nori in half, this left a lot of rice left over & was hard to get some filling inside with the rice. This set for me should advise newbies to use this kit for the bigger size sushi being your first time I feel my experience might have worked better. The rice is lovely but too much of it, the ginger is nice, the rice vinegar seasoning is spot on, the wraps are ok but not enough of them! The soy sauce is super salty the worst I have tried! The wasabi was on the strong side, the rolling mat is ok/good but could have done with less gaps for the rolling. Overall for a beginner kit this is good I would say stick to a whole sheet then you can fill it better & makes a better roll don’t get too adventurous like we did & go straight for the smaller size do the basics first! Better soy needed (or use your own) maybe two more nori sheets would make the kit better value for money. We used tuna & seafood sticks worked well but would have been better if we had been told to make the larger side first. Would buy this as a gift for sure it’s a fun thing to try & even a terrible cook can try lol.
