This is made so well. Some other brands are made in a solid form and glass. The glass ones allow dishes to slide around. This is made as a silicone mat, holding things on with a slip free surface. Very large surface for multiple dishes. Update: I used this for cookie warming too! On Christmas, I placed a sheet of parchment paper, not waxed paper,on the entire surface and put down one layer of chocolate chip cookies I had baked two days before. Wel, it was a hot with the party to have warm chocolate chip cookies!

I thought it was a price error. Similar one on a shopping channel was over double the price! Heats up quick and keeps the food toasty hot. Going to be good heating chocolate for recipes too. The only thing it don't come with is a protective cover for granite work surfaces. We use the existing induction oven top which can withstand heat. One good saving is using this, you're not using 240v , so saving on energy bills! It's a good size too. And being silicone top, gonna be a breeze to clean up.

We did not use as we got a used one while we ordered new. Even if we ordered a used, we would expect it to be at the very least wiped clean. What we got was dirty with hair all over. Very bad experience. Returning it.
