Pay attention to the IP labels
Each of these have a label on the back with their default IP address. I managed to get them mixed up and had all kinds of configuration issues, until I realized I was not logged into the device I thought I was. Out of the box, these are setup to connect, so you can be plugged into one device and be configuring the other device over the air. Luckily, it's very easy to do a factory reset with the pushbutton and start over. This time, I only powered up the AP (address 192.168.2.1) and left the Client off. I set up the AP how I wanted, then I powered up the Client and set it up. No more mistakes this time. I got everything set up how I want and they linked right up.

Does the job but some CAT 5/6 PoE cables would have been nice
The Tenda OS3 (2 pack) connection and throughput is fine for my setup as I’m only using to extend about 300 ft out to my shed and chicken coop for security cameras. Helps to get a good line of site for a stable connection and the LED’s are helpful for determining the best location for the help. Performance is not bad considering the price. I’d give the product five stars if they would have thrown in some CAT5/6 cables so I didn’t have to go get some to complete the setup. In other words, the descriptions states that it can run off passive PoE Power supply or 9v-12v DC Power. They did not include any PoE ethernet cables. In fact, this kit didn’t include even any regular ethernet cables so get ready to make a trip to the store or order some cables. Maybe, they just forgot to pack it in my box? Anyway, I’m glad they at least included the standard power supply for each module.

Decent price for 100Mbit FE wireless bridge
Overall, these are decent Fast Ethernet (100Mbit) wireless bridges at a good price. Make sure you pay attention to the model and specifics. They listing is very clear, I just did not pay close enough attention.I should have gone for the O4 or O6 models, as I was really looking to extend gigabit ethernet. These OS3s will still work well for remote security cameras or other FE devices, but won't support gigabit ethernet. The use of passive PoE is also disappointing - the PoE inline adapters are included at least, but I'd still rather be able to power these directly from my active PoE switches.

Nice Product
The 5.8GHz AC867 Long Range Outdoor CPE is an excellent choice for anyone needing robust, long-range Wi-Fi connectivity in outdoor settings. I’ve been using it to extend internet coverage to a workshop about 500 feet from my home, and it has performed impressively well. The setup was straightforward, even for someone who isn’t incredibly tech-savvy. The web interface is intuitive, and the included documentation provides clear instructions. This unit’s range and signal strength are its standout features. The 5.8GHz frequency ensures a stable and fast connection with minimal interference, even in areas crowded with other wireless devices. It reliably delivers high-speed internet, allowing smooth video streaming and file transfers without hiccups. The weatherproof build has also proven to withstand rain and extreme temperatures, giving me peace of mind about its durability. A minor downside is that it requires a line of sight for optimal performance. Obstructions like trees or walls can reduce signal strength, but that’s expected with this type of device. Overall, the AC867 is a cost-effective and reliable solution for outdoor internet extension. This CPE is worth considering for a farm, workshop, or significant property. It strikes a perfect balance between price, quality, and performance.

Effective - pretty speedy over a little over 2km. Note: 5.8GHz NOT 2.4GHz
First a confession - I ordered these to extend the range of a drone. But that was never going to work because these use a proprietary protocol at a different frequency. Such is life. I’d have to use an additional access point at each end for the drone range extender ploy. To test these, I stuck one up a flag pole before going to a park that’s a touch over 2km away. I magneted the second one to the side of the truck and parked line of sight to the top of the flag pole. I was tempted to use an access point, but opted to hardwire a laptop instead. These little extenders proved capable of maxing out my home WiFi (admittedly not the speediest) while I sat 2km away in the truck. Anyways – I like these extenders. I think their destiny is for temporary bridging when I’d otherwise run a looong wire while diagnosing problems or doing installs.

Tenda OS3 5.8GHz AC867 Long Range Outdoor CPE (2 Pack)
I’ve been happy with how this wireless bridge has performed so far. The 12dBi antennas provide strong connectivity, and the pre-configured setup made installation quick and easy. The build feels durable, and the IP65 weatherproof rating is nice. The passive PoE feature is convenient, simplifying the power and data connection. So far, it’s been working well for extending my network, and we’ll see how it holds up over time. Overall, I’ve been pleased with its performance and reliability.
