Bought for my son whose bedroom is in our basement and he was frequently complaining it was too cold at night. He loves it! It was easy to set up, fits the mattress as expected, easily warms the bed to his comfort level. Several settings and a timer which is nice.

Usually I buy an expensive name brand heated mattress pad every couple of years (they only last 2-3 years). We are moving to a warmer climate in a few months and since my previous pad died I bought this one because of the price. BEST ONE I HAVE EVER HAD! It is great. It has a soft warm top that holds the heat, it warms up quickly, the low setting is really comfortable and it even came in a true full size (usually it is a full/queen and too big). The controls are easy to use, even when half asleep and I can't feel the wires. It is a winner.

I am enjoying my heated mattress pad. I’ve used electric blankets before, and while I love those, this is definitely different and nice. It stays in place, doesn’t bunch up and overheat, and because heat rises it’s in a better location than a blanket for you to benefit from the heat it produces. I got a twin to use on a king mattress so that only I would get warm. That works great. I didn’t have the problems with controls that negative reviews noted. My controller shows the setting all night, keeps the previous setting, and has a long enough cord to go from the foot of a California king and plug in at the headboard. I really like that it has a high preheat (12), while I brush my teeth and such, then I can tap it down to my overnight temp. The temp settings are 1-10, and I expected them to basically be low-medium-high, where 1-4, 5-8, 9-10 were just three basic temps, not 10 different ones, but SURPRISE! Each notch is noticeably different!! As a result it took a couple nights of overheating, underheating, etc. to find my exact temperatures for different situations, but once found, really nice! Very nice to be able to fine tune my bed’s heat! The timer is for up to 8 hrs, which works for me.I took a star off for two reasons:1) the controller is really big (about 4” diameter and1.5” thick) and clunky. Hard to tuck somewhere or keep out of the way.2) It didn’t work in my convenient outlet, so it is plugged in across the room. Everything else (lamp, phone charger, electric blanket, etc.) works fine when plugged into that outlet. So I don’t know what the problem is. And it might be my electrical, since the pad works fine off the other outlet. That said, the cord is long enough to do that. If I want to change the heat, I have to get out of bed, which is a bummer.All in all a good purchase. This is for a vacation house, so I’m not returning it. If I slept on it every night I would definitely return it and hope the next one worked in the right outlet.

I was looking into King size heating blankets when I came across heated mattress pads. I started researching all the ones on Amazon. I decided on this one and I am BEYOND HAPPY! As soon as I got it I put it straight on the bed on top of my other mattress pad with bottom sheet on top of the heated mattress pad. I have a deep pocket mattress and there's enough room for 2-3 more inches if you have a really deep pocketed mattress.Pros:- Wake up in less pain!!- Easy to install. Take out of bag, put on bed just like a bottom sheet. *personal preference: I opted to have the power plug at the head of the mattress VS the bottom as the remotes can sit on nightstands- Dual zoned heating. I'm a thick and wide woman 5'11. The heating strips go from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet and as far left and right as I go, I can feel the warmth. It's wonderful that if I don't want the heat one night and my husband does, he can still have his heat.- Cannot feel the warming coils, at all! I read on several other pads you can feel the coils. As of now, nope! Just that beautiful, cuddly, homely warmth.- The settings, about an hour before bed I go to each remote, power on, and click preheat. I'm not sure what temperature it's automated to set at but so far it's been perfect for both of us as we let it stay in the preheat mode until we wake up. Let me tell you, when waking up to go to the bathroom and running to get back into bed I'm no longer crawling into cold sheets...feels like I'm laying in warm silk (must have sheets are Boll & Branch. SO WORTH THE $!!)Cons-So far, none. I am concerned about the washability of it because it has the electrical plug that you plug the remotes into... but we'll see how that goes. Reviews and their details say it IS washable.110% go buy this mattress pad and then go buy a set of Boll & Branch sheets because with the 2... man oh man. You'll sleep more soundly than you ever have!
