Stuff works and adheres to glass great!

Used this to reseal a used 55 gallon aquarium that I was refurbing. Wasn't quite enough for the whole tank (had to use a second tube), but it has held tight without leaks for several weeks, so I can't complain.

When it comes to sealing aquariums the general rule is that plain 100% silicone caulks should be fine and aquarium safe, but for those the want a piece of mind and desire a caulk that is actually rated for aquarium use this Stanley caulk is a great choice... It's reasonably priced, and so far is working as expected... I used it to reseal a 55 gallon, I was going to fully disassemble the 55 and build it new, but decided to just reseal it vs risk breaking the trim rings... So far so good, the silicone spread out well and bonded well to the cleaned glass, no issues and the tank is no longer leaking...

This quality glue is easy to use and provides a strong, waterproof bond. I have a 7 foot vertical square aquarium that is very attractive but difficult to maintain. It has deteriorated over time and leaked around the base. I removed the base and resealed it with this Stanley product. It did great job sealing the leakage even with the pressure of the tall tank. Didn’t work and it was a mess to work with

The silicone is fine, but it has to cure per instructions on the tube for three weeks. I wish I would have known this prior to purchasing.

I needed clear silicone for my hummingbird feeders that were cracked. Instead of throwing them away, I used a little silicone to seal the cracks. Works very well and this tube will last me a long time.
