Best One Yet! More Please.
God, this was so good. Richard Osmon writes like he can reach into our minds and just know what will be the best thing. The best characters. The best hilarity. The best story to suck us in. And the best way to rip our heart out and make us cry while giving excellent mysteries to keep our brains tumbling forward. This series just keeps me falling more and more in love with all of these things. The dialog between the characters is so good! I feel like I actually know everyone in the Thursday Murder Club and their friends. I can NOT wait for the next installment! It’s going to have me checking my NetGalley account daily to request a copy. This is a series I would love to have in hardback on my shelves. I just reread the series before diving into this book and I know I will reread them again. I’m at the time in my life where I’m losing my older loved ones to dementia and other horrid blood sucking diseases. These books have helped me to have more understanding and patience. Thank you Mr Osman. You deserve many accolades for your writing. Now get back to it! I need more!

Emotional mystery
I have loved all Thursday Murder Club books, and this one is stellar. The quirky characters, the banter, the plans, life and death situations, and our favorite characters all together solving a murder mystery. The writing is splendid, and each character so well defined. Joyce gets to come out of her shell and lead a bit which is fun. I love her dear diary entries. We are taken on an emotional ride that is remarkably well done. There are so many feels in this story. Ibrahim tells a part of his past story, which is heartbreaking! Elizabeth needs to take some time to be with her Stephen, and oh the feels there are there. Ron is funny and can be stubborn, yet he does have a sweet side. They all work so well together and even Chris, and Donna concede to their plans. I love Patrice and Boghdan, and hope as Joyce does that in the next book there will be a wedding. A delightful if at times very emotional read. We will have to wait for the next installment as Richard Osman will be writing another story for us before the next Thursday Murder Club. Read or listen to these excellent stories.

Always fun!
The seniors of Coopers Chase are back in action in another twisty, delightful mystery. When Stephen’s friend Kuldesh is found shot and a stash of heroin goes missing, the Thursday Murder Club is drawn into a tangled web involving drug gangs and shady antique dealers. Things take a turn when Chris and Donna are abruptly pulled off the case, hinting at something much bigger behind the scenes. As more bodies begin to appear and a new resident is swindled out of thousands by the elusive “Tatiana,” the group has more than enough to keep them busy. Amid the chaos, the story gains emotional depth as Elizabeth and Stephen confront the heartbreaking realities of his dementia, navigating what it means to love someone who's slowly slipping away. Meanwhile, Ron and Ibrahim face emotional awakenings of their own—Ron finds reconciliation with Pauline, and Ibrahim opens his heart, sharing Marius with Bob.

Excellent Title - Excellent Series
The Last Devil to Die is written by Richard Osman. It is Book #4 of the Thursday Murder Club series.Disturbing news reaches Elizabeth, Joyce, Ron & Ibrahim - the Thursday Murder Club. An old friend has been murdered and a ‘special’ package he was protecting has gone missing. In their desire to solve the murder, the group encounters drug dealers, art forgers, antiques dealers, antiquities experts and fraudsters of all types. As the body count increases, they don’t know who to trust.Brilliant plotting, likeable, quirky characters, a nice retirement village, lots of cakes, snacks and wine and lots of information and thoughts on dementia and end of life directives. The dialogue and diary entries (thanks to Joyce) are interesting, funny, endearing, surprising, charming, intelligent and very often deeply thought-provoking.I seem to be addicted to The Thursday Murder Club! *****

The Best one.
This one was quite surprising. So many characters and the plot twists were surprising to say the least. Moving on to book 5 now. Can’t wait! Although it’s bitter sweet since this is the last one, I’m still excited to see what the gang is up too next. Michele

Another winner!
With the release of the Netflix movie of THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB, I picked up the fourth in the series THE LAST DEVIL TO DIE. It’s been out over a year, but I hadn’t gotten around to it. The fifth book comes out soon. This book wraps up several story threads and it’s appropriate that there was a bit of a break between the installments.A friend of Stephen's who made an appearance in a previous book is murdered and the club investigates his death. The official investigation is taken away from Chris and Donna and they have to depend on the club and even do a little "off the books" investigating of their own." Over all, this is a solid entry to the series.Osman is taking a bit of a break before the next installment to focus on a new series. Though as I said, it took me a while to get to this one, so the next one is going to be out soon, so it's like no time at all has passed for me. :-)I enjoyed the TMC movie in spite of the changes from the book. The casting and acting were excellent. The changes were (mostly) necessary to condense the story into a two-hour movie. I (along with the vocal critics) will be curious how the producers will handle the one glaring change if they make more movies.

This book is a fantastic read from start to finish. Engaging, well-written, funny, and thought-provoking—it’s one of those titles you’ll want to revisit. Definitely a gem worth adding to your collection. Highly recommended!

Another Fun Book
This series has been a favorite! Definitely start with book #1 before any of the others. The club is a small group of residents of a senior living community in England, and they help to solve murders they accidentally come across. All the characters are adults or animals, it's a more sophisticated cozy mystery.
