This polarizing lens is extremely durable, and was very flexible and easy to use on the GoPro. It came with a lens cap and it did exactly what the description said, reduces the glare coming into the lens. This allowed me to take very nice raw shots.

The CPL filter comes in a very nice plastic box! The package includes a Gopro CPL/Polarizer filter, and a plastic case... The CPL filter works with a Gopro Hero 5/6/7/2018, it works great, and fits very snug on my Gopro Hero 5! This filter works great to bring out color and detail in clouds, and can take unwanted reflections off of water! It will not reduce image quality! The look and design is great! THIS IS A GREAT BUY! The seller is very nice and helpful!!

Great filter, and seems to provide the essential polarizing functionality...though I would question the ultimate need for polarizers on GoPro's overall. So far with the newer versions, you can optimize settings to capture perfect shots and videos using Protune, though i suppose on a bright sunny day in snowy terrain, one could benefit from this.

I use this filter to record hockey games and it works great. Prior to the filter my GoPro would constantly adjust to the changing light in the arena and the videos would be horrible to watch just because the lighting was always changing. Adding the filter eliminated this and everything is crystal clear. Also, a side benefit that I didn't know at the time is that they filter also eliminates reflection from the glass.

Slightly looser friction fit than the older models. Luckily I could use a gasket from an older one.

This is on my GPH7B and fits fine even though labeled for 5 and 6. Seems to be of good quality and am looking forward to testing it’s glare reduction when everything that’s out here.

It does reduce the glare on water. Not as much as a more expensive filter but worth the price.
