The pen part works really well. It's a high quality gel pen insert.If you've got a good body to put these in, these are excellent. They work without, of course, but less comfortably.They come shipped with little caps on the pen tips rather than just a simple glue dingleknob and that's a major added value. See: Those normal glue globs can wreck a gel pen before you've ever even used it by leaving a residue on the wire that prevents the ink from freely flowing down the wire.These were manufactured and shipped with a more expensive but more certain solution to keep things nice in transit & storage. Credit where it's due.

You don't need a new pen, just new ink. This is a much more budget friendly way to do it, and you still get the same great results. Great and as expected!
