Super easy to install and use! Very sturdy, works well with our door but did run a bit at first due to the thickness, but our door still opens and shuts fine. I love the sleek look of it and it’s very secure. Gives me peace of mind.

Excellent, easy to install...use deck screws for more security

Overall, I really like the Husfunov Home Security Door Locks. They’re incredibly easy to use, and I appreciate how the sliding latch design adds an extra layer of safety—especially with little ones around. Even if my toddler climbs up on a chair and reaches the door, there's no way he can unlock it once it’s latched. That gives me peace of mind. The locks also have a nice, sleek, and discreet look, which blends in well with our doors and doesn’t make the space feel too "childproofed." The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the installation. Due to the way our door frames are built, I couldn’t install the lock on the side as intended—doing so prevented the door from opening or closing. I had to mount it at the top instead. I was disappointed that the manufacturer’s solution was to cut into the door frame (which I wasn’t willing to do, especially since we may not keep these on forever). It would have been more helpful if they had suggested alternate mounting locations or provided clearer guidance in the product description to help buyers determine compatibility with their door frames. That said, once installed, it works great—and I’d still recommend it for anyone looking for a sturdy, childproof lock solution.

These work just as easily and effectively as you see on other videos. Simple design. Super easy to install even though I had to chisel away at door jamb to make room for one ( be sure you test the fit / function of lock before you start drilling holes just as the instructions say ). However I agree with what many others say: the included screws are awful. The heads strip whether you use powered driver or handheld screwdriver. Do yourself a favor and use different ones.

I bought these more as a childproofing measure, to keep the grandkids from going out to the pool area without an adult present. Looks good, easy to install ( although I did have to mortise out the door jamb a little because the door fits very tightly. Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.
