Seals extremely well!
I have my laser engraver vented outside via a 6” duct with a flap on the outside wall. I decided to install a damper to stop cold air from coming back into my basement. When this damper is closed it completely seals off the duct and stops all cold air from backing down the duct. It is very easy to operate and has a locking wing nut to lock the damper in any position. I highly recommend this product.

this valve is PERFECT for Chinese diesel heaters that are used to heat two different areas. very happy with its' performance!!!!
