GoveeCOB LED Strip Light Pro, LED Lights for Bedroom Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant and Matter, RGBICW Light with Warm White, Smart Strip Light, Color Changing, for Cabinet, 16.4ft

I bought these to replace older Govee light strips that I had for my desk and I am glad I did. The light is very bright and the colors are very vivid. I also like that its all white—the previous one I had, had black borders which didn't look nice on my white desk. It's good quality, adhesive quality is also very good and it was easy to set up and connect.

The media could not be loaded. I had been looking for some rope lights that were good quality, bright, and stuck to my wall (without needing brackets to hold them up) and these are IT. They stick to the wall excellently and look awesome. Super easy to setup + great connectivity and app.I'm a gamer and streamer and these are the lights of my dreams.. like for real. I was not only impressed by the quality, but how bright/vivid they are. I got the 16.4ft and have them in the corner of one wall and they light up the entire room.Absolutely obsessed with these lights specifically out of all of my govee lights so far.Would buy again. Worth the investment!

This light checks so many boxes for me, but mainly COB functionality with RGB and WHITE (cool and warm) combined into one. Glad Govee offered it as I trust their products.A few flaws for my particular installation...1) I like to hide wires as much as possible. The fact that the light is permanently connected directly to the control box, and rather close too (~3ft), means that in order for me to route power and control components into a closet or behind drywall means I'd have to cut a huge hole in a wall to fit either the control box or light through. I didn't want to do this, so I just mounted the control box to the visible wall, which is not ideal. I wish they offered a disconnect option for the light to control box connection. 2) the bottom of the end caps are not flush with the bottom of the strip light itself creating a bit of a gap at both ends of the light between the wall.Still five stars because the light is dope. Super bright. And shines my gun wall perfectly. If they could improve the connection issue to allow easier hiding of wires, it'd be an impeccable product. Oh yeah, the packaging on this is s-tier.

These lights are really cool! You don’t see individual LEDs it almost looks like an old school neon light. The colors are bright and vibrant. The app is pretty good, it was very simple to connect and offers a ton of different modes/settings. The adhesive sticks to my wall with no issues I’ve had them up for a few months now and still work great.

Okay so these strip lights I'm using on my L-shaped desk and I absolutely love them. Coming from a non diffused RGB strip previously these are a massive upgrade. Govee did a fantastic job with making sure you don't see the individual LEDs and it truly looks magnificent like one continues line of energy flowing around my desk!These were also very easy to install and they stick pretty well to my desk. The only complaint I have with the adhesive is by the powered end were the cable connects on my unit the end of the strip has a hard time staying stuck to my desk. This is an easy fix though with a under desk adhesive anker and a zip tie. Just use the zip tie to pull the end of the wire that connects to the strip towards the desk and pin it there. This completely fixes the issue.One other complaint I have is nowhere in the instructions or in videos did they tell you that it COMES with an extra end piece. I spent 15 mins trying to pry the end cap from the cut piece of RGB strip so I could reuse it on the new end. After struggling and finally getting it off I decided to look in the box one more time because there is no way this is the solution. Low and behold in one of the boxes inside the packaging where the power brick is there is a small separate compartment inside that box with an extra end piece. So save yourself the effort and just use the provided end piece!The light settings are vast. With the Govee app on your phone you can pretty much customize these to do whatever you want. I also love I can control them through my phone so I can get in bed then turn them off when I'm ready to go to sleep. I also have had zero problems with them flickering or not functioning as designed overall its a very well made high quality product.Now are they worth it? I mean yea they are freaking awesome and I would buy them again if mine went out. They aren't cheap but I feel I got what I paid for. So I hope this helped you in making a purchasing decision. The media could not be loaded. These lights were very easy to install. Very much more flexible than rope lights or even desk lights. They look awesome on my cabinets if I do say so myself….. also know that it wherever you put them is where they’re going to stay… for eternity. Adhesive is so strong that when I had to remove one, I had to use a knife and cut the adhesive off of the actual light itself and leave the adhesive behind or it will tear all the paint off of my wall. It’s a good thing that they’re very strong adhesive wise. Just make sure that you know exactly where you’re putting it and that you have measured properly and if you’re going to cut it, make sure that you do that before you start putting it up. Also, a big deal is that these are neon colored and very bright! If you are trying to match something like dream view, for instance (I did) they will not match with the other lights at all not even close.They don’t even match the desk lights that you see in the video along my countertops. I have to turn the brightness down or it overpower the entire kitchen and other lights.

These are awesome looking lights – when you first power them up they do a cool color wave pattern that really shows off how smooth and well-diffused the 1000+ LED lights are. Unfortunately I just couldn't get Matter to work and that's a dealbreaker for me. I followed the instructions and tried every troubleshooting suggestion I could find, but I couldn't get it connected to Apple Home or Home Assistant, but they connect to the Govee app just fine. So if you don't care about smarthome integration and are fine with controlling them through the Govee app then you'll probably love these, but otherwise your mileage may vary.
