Vanicream Aluminum-Free Gel Deodorant - 2 oz - Unscented Formula for Sensitive Skin

I have very sensitive skin and struggle with most deodorants causing itching, redness, or breakouts. All of a sudden about two years ago I started turning up allergic to every anti-perspirant I tried, starting with the one I'd used for years without issue. I finally landed on Lume' for the deodorant and that actually worked best for me, but could not use their anti-perspirant products, just their deodorant, and constantly had wet pits that would still start smelling towards the end of the day. After speaking to a dermatologist, she recommended this Vanicream Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Sensitive Skin. I checked several stores before finding it on Amazon. The first time I used it, it did burn a little and cause a small rash. I think my skin was still agitated from the last shave. It was a little dry/rough going on the first time, but now that first layer is off the product, it does go on smoothly without pulling at the skin. It's been almost a week, and I've had dry underarms no matter what I'm wearing since after the first application (which was in the morning). Use it at night after washing, and it works perfect! I did also change my shave cream to something more high quality, started moisturizing the skin there, and changed my razor to a brand new one geared toward sensitive skin and all that together seems to have solved my two year problem. No breakthrough sweat, no breakthrough smell. I feel like a normal person again and can stop avoiding other people for fear my deodorant has stopped working. So far, no rash, no burning, no itching either. I think... hopefully... this is finally the product that's going to work long term for me. I'm so glad the dermatologist recommended it!

This deodorant is a game changer, and I absolutely love it!! I have been struggling with eczema on my armpits for quite some time. I've tried all type of deodorants, from sensitive skin & fragrance-free, to aluminum-free. None of them helped to address my eczema, except for Vanicream. After using this deodorant, I no longer have the itching and irritation under my armpits, and the dark spots from the eczema are beginning to fade. It has a very neutral fragrance, and your underarms do not stink. I will be using this from now on. I, without hesitancy, recommend it for anyone with irritation under their arms.

I’ve used the same deodorant for as long as I can remember. I’m not good with change. Then, I got a slap of reality. I broke out in an unforgiving rash! I ended up having to go to the dermatologist multiple times! He told me I was having an allergic reaction to the hygiene products I was using. How?!?? I’ve used them since I was a little girl! This couldn’t be happening! It was, though. I had to do something. He said I had to go with some of the best fragrance, dye, etc. free products I could buy. He gave me a few different names of products. He wanted me to try this, and see if it got better. I came home and started searching Amazon until I found this deodorant (amongst other Vanicream products). I decided to try it to see if it would work. I noticed pros and cons with this deodorant. First, it’s very expensive for a bottle of deodorant! It goes quickly! It is a great gel formula, though! It goes on great! It goes on (and for the most part) stays clear! I did notice, that after having it on several hours, the deodorant started to slowly turn into a crumb like material which I wasn’t crazy about! The deodorant did provide great odor protection for almost 48 hours! This deodorant doesn’t keep me as odor free as other brands I used to use. Like I said, it lasted approx 48 hours before I had body odor again. Now, the sensitive skin part? It is spot on! It is SO easy on the skin! It is 100% fragrance free! It’s the ONLY deodorant that doesn’t sting and burn when I apply it after shaving! That was mind blowing! It’s very, very gentle! It also helped heal the rash and stop the itching! Having said all of this, it is on the more costly side! The rash came with a cost, too! A miserable cost! I just needed something that would work! I found it in this deodorant! It’s so gentle! It NEVER burns! There is no more rash! It was totally worth it! I would definitely recommend this product to anybody that needs an incredibly gentle and professionally recommended product! It really does work!

Very happy with this deodorant. I have very sensitive skin Under my arms. Tried several other brands but all gave me a rash. This brand didn't. I'm so happy to get this. It works great even though it has no scent. I'll gladly give up scent for rash-free skin. Thanks for a quality product.

I picked up the Vanicream Anti-Perspirant Deodorant for Sensitive Skin because I’m pretty picky about what I put on my skin, especially around my underarms. This one has been a great find. I bought this since I started to develop a reaction to regular store bought deodorants like old spice. I liked the gentle formula. It seemed to not irritate my arm pits and soaked in pretty quick after shortly air drying. I think I would only use this in the winter. I tried this is the Texas summer and it did not combat odor well when I was outside a lot.

I have never used an entire tube of deodorant in my life UNTIL this one! 🩷 I have had eczema for as long as I can remember and tried almost everything on the market. Especially the more natural stuff and I’ve even tried making my own. My skin is extremely sensitive and my eczema will break out immediately with every deodorants or antiperspirants. Burning and stinging. This antiperspirant has seriously been a life saver. Fantastic odor and sweat control! Hasn’t irritated my skin AT ALL. PLEASE don’t ever discontinue this! Price seems fair compared to a lot of deodorant on the market these days. My only issue is I wish I could just go to the store and pick one up. Can’t really find it anywhere except Amazon.
