Q: From all of the reviews, it seems most of these units dont last past 90 days. Can someone with expertise address this issue?

pH meters in general do not last long. Sometimes a new probe will fix the problem, but not often. I have never had a Hanna pH tester last more than 90 days if it even gets that far. Support is poor.

Q: Does this meter have an electrode that can be used to test curd in cheese making?

The probe is recessed in the unit, so it would be difficult to test curd.

Q: Where can I find the replacement electrode

Replacement electrodes are avail at www.hannainst.com. You will need the tool supplied with the instrument to make the change!

Q: Can use for solvent base paint

checked with our Tech Dept. and they said the HI 9812X series of pH testers would not work for the testing of pH in solvent based paints.Sincerely,
