Good choice

I love this watch, and especially the step counter function as I was fed up of having the same rubbery Apple Watch-a-likes that everyone seems to have. Classic style. Haven’t managed to connect it to Bluetooth yet, but also haven’t needed to ;)

Nice new classic with great look. It is slightly larger than older models with similar style, for me it could be even bigger. But that is just personal preference.Three small drawbacks:- Alarm has no week days selection. Once set, it will beep every day at the same time throughout the week.- No way to change the date format. You are stuck with YY-MM-DD. Casio responded to me with blunt "it is Japanese made and is using Japanese date format". Welcome to 21st century customer approach. Do you sell you products outside of JP market or not? Navermind. - Step counter goes mental. It has 3 axis accelerometer, yet it is not very precise. I would say it adds 30% to the actual count. Tried another couple of units at a shop after ordering mine and had same result. It is what it is, a gimmick after all.Bluetooth connection is nice. App is also working fine.Overall a good watch with nostalgic, retro look.

All of the functions stated work well. The guide sheet is not so helpful. I went online to learn the various steps. There are some excellent help videos there. Essential to use the Casio Phone App as this makes the setup so much more easy. The steps tracker works well and a good point is that at mid-night it reverts back to zero all ready for the following day. The clasp is flimsy and care must be taken to fully click it closed otherwise it loosens off and the watch slides from your arm.The watch sits well upon the wrist and has a pleasant appearance. An improvement would be a heavier/wider strap. Overall I am very pleased and would buy again and do recommend. Delivery was prompt and well packaged.

Scratches very easily. This was delivered on Sunday afternoon. It is now Tuesday morning and I have noticed a big scratch on the main body of the watch.I literally sit at a desk all day, walk home, then sit at a desk all night. I have worn an Apple Watch every day for two years and it hasn’t got a scratch on it. I dread to think what it will look like in a month or two.Besides that it is a decent watch. The strap is nice looking imo. The features are a bit bad though.To connect to a phone you need to register the watch and make a Casio account. You then have to agree to them processing and passing your data to third parties. All of that and your watch will set the time automatically. Just doesn’t seem worth it.The recall mode is absolutely pointless. You are not wearing this watch to time your laps be honest.The dual time mode again is pointless. Just another thing to scroll past.The timer is great but only goes for an hour.
