Good product, easy to make up and swallow, tastes good, good value for money, happy with results as they didn’t take to long to work. Feel a lot better now. Will use these whenever needed now

These new sachets (they're smaller than the older versions) seem to taste better, making them easier to take.They were never particularly unpleasant, but I think these taste just that bit nicer.They're very easy to take, just mix with a drink,and they work gently.They don't so much make you go rushing off, but make it gentler when you do go.They will work differently for everyone I suspect, but for me they tend to work overnight.Happy to recommend, they're very useful to have at home. Probably best to get your pharmacist’s advice first but if you are constipated and blocked up and need to get things moving then look no further than these movicol sachets. Follow the instructions and perhaps be in striking distance of a toilet for the first few days. They really do work.

Good product does what it says first class

Not for me. Has a taste that is too like the stuff you have to take before a colonoscopy. No flavour can hide the unpleasant feeling of glycol, it seems.I ended up taking Myota gut health powder - expensive but a virtually tasteless powder - a glass of water will just taste very slightly salty. Will easily be hidden in food.

Works quickly, most effective I have found

I am currently suffering from increasing bone pain; pelvic, shoulder blade, shin bones, etc. Consequently, until I can get properly assessed, I need to take a lot of pain killers, which are possibly the cause of my constipation.I've tried Syrup of Figs, and also Dates, prior to my main meal. I also eat Walnuts and Almonds, for fibre, with my main meal, but nothing has really worked.In desperation, I tried these Movicol Ease Stick Sachets, which had no effect, at first, but having now used 10 ratchets, do seem to have significantly improved my bowel movements, lately.However, be careful when taking them, as in my experience, it can quickly turn from 'famine to feast'. :O(I now only dissolve one ratchet into water, and then add this mixture into my protein shake, which I take most lunchtimes. Apparently, ingesting protein without fibre, can cause constipation.PROS:The mild Lemon flavour is acceptable.CONS:The powder can difficult to dissolve. I find that pouring the powder into a dry container, and then quickly pouring the ¼ pint of water in, on top of it, works best. But it still can clump together, and I need to wait a few minutes, for it to eventually dissolve. Not a good thing, when you are in a hurry. Strangely, stirring doesn't seem to speed up this process. I'm not sure if it would be possible, but from the mixing point of view, it would be better if this product came in a solution or gel.It can take a few days to have an effect, but once it does, it can also be difficult to stop this; a bit of trial and error required.Obviously, everyone's digestive system is different, but I hope that telling my experience, will help others to make the best of this product.
