I use this to control the power on and off sequence of a collection of audio equipment so that no clicks or pops are amplified when the system is switched on or off. It's simple to use, and works great, and I really appreciate the digital voltmeter display.Unfortunately the unit that I received wasn't working properly and needed repair - but I purchased a "used - excellent condition" unit from Amazon so I'll assume some of the risk with that purchase.I appreciate the simplicity, ease of use, and quality construction of this inexpensive piece of gear that helps clean up the wiring of your collection of equipment and make sure that things are powered up in the proper order. It is a good addition to my audio system.

This was just the ticket for getting my studio interface to stop spiking my nearfield monitors whenever I powered down. My only quibble is that the eight red LEDs on the front panel are so bright that I had to cover them with translucent tape so they wouldn't dazzle me while I record. If you need electronic or electrical items turned off or on in a specific order, this does them, one second at a time for a total of eight seconds power-up or power-down. Looks spiffy in the rack, too.

It was supposed to suppress noise, but it didn't. I returned it.
