I tried the Mr Muscle Sink and Drain Unblocker two pack recently and was really pleased with how well it worked. One of our sinks was draining really slowly and after using this, the water was running clear and fast again with hardly any effort. It’s really simple to use – just pour it down, leave it to do its thing, and then flush through with hot water.The fact it comes as a two pack is handy as well – good value and useful to keep one spare in the cupboard for when you need it. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re dealing with a blocked or sluggish drain, as it saves the hassle of calling someone out and works quickly.

I used the Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker on a slow-draining bathroom sink and later on a kitchen drain that had started backing up. It's a thick gel formula that claims to work three times better than bleach and is safe for all pipes.What I liked:Works fast on mild to moderate blockages - In the bathroom sink, it cleared the clog in about 15 minutes. Water started flowing normally again without any plunging.Heavy gel sticks well - Unlike thinner cleaners, this one stays where you pour it. It clings to the blockage instead of running straight through.No strong chemical smell - It has an odour, but it's not overpowering or irritating like some other products.Safe on pipes - Used it on plastic and metal drains with no issues or visible wear. Didn't need to worry about damage.Good value in the duo pack - Two bottles means you're covered for multiple uses or tougher blockages.What I didn't like:Struggles with tougher clogs - It didn't fully clear the kitchen drain on the first try. I had to use a second dose the next day.Needs time to work - Even though it's labelled "fast-acting," you still have to leave it for at least 15 minutes or longer for deeper blockages.Cap design is messy - The bottle cap drips after pouring unless you wipe it down, which is annoying if you store it under the sink.Final thoughts:Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker is a solid, easy-to-use option for everyday clogs in sinks, showers, and drains. It's not magic on major blockages, but for routine maintenance or minor slow drainage, it does the job without harsh fumes or pipe damage. The duo pack is decent value if you want to keep one in the house as backup.

Used this to clear our en-suite shower as the water was not draining away at all. Within seconds of pouring it in, the water started to disappear.I used just under half the bottle and let it sit for 15 mins before rinsing away. The instructions stated 500ml and leave for 5 mins or longer depending on how bad it is. Decided to give it another dose just to make sure so used the remainder of the bottle and left it for 20 mins this time before rinsing.The difference since using this is unbelievable. The water drains away instantly, no overflowing waste or shower tray when the showers on. It’s also very easy to use, works instantly on blockages and is very good value for money.Please take care when using as it’s pretty strong stuff.

This worked great - the water in my shower was barely draining because it was full of hair I couldn’t reach. After using this, it unclogged everything and now the water flows normally again. Very effective! Price is oky and love the pack of 2.

Bought this to clear a blockage in my bathroom sink. Easy to use but be careful as it’s strong stuff. Used one full bottle and it was effective, but it did take some time to break down the blockage. My take from this is you have to have a little patience but it cleared the drain effectively which is exactly what you want!

This is honestly the best at cleaning drains, I have a drain in the bathroom that builds up all the time (busy household) that slowly drains and it sorts the blockage everytime, it disintegrates the hair! And fast thankfully because I'm too squeamish to pull it out by hand yuck. It works the great in the kitchen sink too. Definitely recommend

I’ve tried Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker a few times, and honestly, I wouldn’t call it a powerful unblocker. In my experience, it doesn’t really clear tough or stubborn blockages the way you might expect. If you’re dealing with a fully clogged drain, you’ll likely be disappointed and might need something stronger or even a plumber.That said, I do think it works well as a deterrent. Used regularly, it seems to keep drains fresher and helps prevent smaller buildups from turning into bigger problems. For maintenance and peace of mind, it’s handy to have around.In short:• For tough blockages? Not very effective.• For prevention and light maintenance? Yes, it does the job.I’d recommend it more as a routine treatment than as a real unblocker.
