The best Portable rechargeble personal blender.
if you want a rechargerable portable blender that actually mixes and crushes the ice for smoothies, this is the one. I live off grid and during the winter have to watch what things I use with power. this is the best. its rechargeable.. i can get over 10 uses before i even have to think about charging it again. so that is by far the best for what i need. the size is great. its easy to clean. i have had no leaking of any kind. I purchased it on a sale price so it was a great price. Ninja has the best quality in made product. there is only one con that i have found with this product. if for some reason you break the container or need a new blade i havent been able to find any replacement so you would have to purchase a whole new system. i wished there was replacement single parts or different accessories i could get for it. I knew all this before i got the product and i still wanted it. its hasnt let me down yet.

Get it, Girl!
The perfect blender for smoothies and even drinks with ice. It’s not super loud, it’s *cordless*, it’s pretty, and comes in lots of colors. You can literally take it outside or to any random room if you’re worried about waking someone with the noise. Easy to clean. Super convenient. No notes of improvement!

Works great
Ninja has a reputation for producing great products for the home. Thus, I was looking forward to getting and using this blender. I love a smoothie. I have tried other blenders especially since for health purposes my provider has recommended 1-2 smoothies a day. First, it needs to be charged. The charger is packed inside the blender itself. Plug it in to charge before use. It does take a long time. Don't plan to use that day. The instructions are easy to read and follow. There is a little recipe booklet included along with a guide for what to add and the order to add the items. There is a good explanation about errors that can occur with the blender and how to correct them. The container itself has the markings for what you add - 6 ounces minimum of liquid. It has a max fill line. It comes with good instructions and a great guide for making your smoothies: liquid, fresh fruits, leafy greens, sticky stuff, and frozen fruits/ice. You are cautioned if you add more frozen fruits you may need to add more fluid. I added an 8 ounce protein supplement shake, a banana and a cup of frozen strawberries. It was so easy to use. Power on. When the white lights were on, pressed the smoothie button and let it do its thing. It will power on and off for a minute or more. Remove the vessel from the motor, push the button on the lid and drink. The texture was just right. You have the option of taking just the vessel or taking both the vessel and motor (for remixing later). I only have 1 complaint and it isn't worth subtracting a 1 star. It is an irritation though. It should have a standard USB-C charger instead of the one it has that is a dedicated charger. I do recommend the mixer because of the power, versatility, and ease of use. Great for smoothies, milkshakes and more. We made daiquiris and they turned out perfect.

Portable Ninja Blender
Ninja blast met my expectations for on the go shakes and blending out to the office or at work. Keep it charged and clean. Just got to learn not to overload the blender. This is great for my protein and fruit smoothies. The noise level is pretty loud if curious. Speed of blending is always fast - can't control pulse blends. Great quality and blender is sturdy. For smell, not smelly if you clean right after you finish drinking your blended drink. Blades are not externally removable. Clean carefully - disconnect from base.

Generally good blender for camping and such
Quick update after using it for a few weeks - the charging indicator works fine, showing green for a number of smoothies, turning red/orange after 7 of them. Probably needed a couple of cycles to calibrate the display. I took it camping a few times and it works just great. I love that the mixing container does double duty as a smoothie bottle rather than having to use yet another thing that needs to be cleaned. I also bought a sleeve/bag for the Blast Max which protects it well during travels. Allow charging via USB-C (or car 12V adapter), and perhaps simplify the cap somehow for easier cleaning, and it would be a clear 5/5. I am an avid Camper and a Health Nut. For my daily smoothie, I use a Vitamix 6300 which reduces anything in the container to a smooth mass. For camping, I had one of those hand-held blenders which do work but tend to clog up quickly and create more of a lumpy than a smoothie. Also, there is always the danger of getting splashed which isn't fun when you're dealing with beets. So I figured I'd give this a try to bring my camping smoothies up to the next level. Note that I pre-blend most of the ingredients in my Vitamix and then freeze the result into concentrated cubes for camping, add banana and frozen pineapple and some Chia, let it sit outside the freezer over night and blend it in the morning. Anyway, I haven't gone camping with the Blast yet, but I think it will work out just fine. I tested how many smoothies I get out of one battery charge and got 11 after the first charge. So blending twice per smoothie will make it last 5 days which is fine for me. The resulting smoothie is right in between the Vitamix and the Blender stick, better than expected for greens like Celery and Kale and even solid things like Beet. Don't pack it too tightly because it will report being stuck if the blade can't spin up freely. Once it turns it makes quick work of the ingredients. There are a few small "room for improvements" and one bigger one. The cap for example is designed well for its function, but not for cleaning. Lots of crooks and nannies in there that need lots of work if you happen to not rinse it right away. Another small thing that could be improved is the charge display. According to the manual, it is green when charged and red when it needs a charge. However, mine turns red right after disconnecting the charger. It blends a while before it stops, but I would like to see a 0/25/50/75/100% indicator, or a digital percentage. Just a red light doesn't do a fairly pricey blender justice. The big thing for me is the dedicated 110V charger. This makes it more challenging to charge on the road. Of course, charging may not be necessary if the batteries hold strong, but I think it would be good to be able to charge this via regular USB-C or at least a 12V. Also good luck if you loose the charger. We'll see how it holds up long term and if there will be replacement parts (like the container/blade assembly) if that should be needed.

Excellent
We love this blender! My son was looking for a blender that he could use every day for a protein shake. This exceeded his expectations. It’s a great size and perfect for a single serving. The power blends his shake nicely. It’s not too loud and very convenient. He blended his smoothie in the car on the way to a basketball game. Cleaning is simple and not a chore. I would recommend this blender to anyone!

HIGHLY Recommend!!!!
Ninja products are the best. I bought this for my daughter and she loves that it detaches and she can make smoothies and shakes where she goes and it's lightweight does not take up too much space easy to clean, it chops everything the and blade does not get dull. The size is no bigger than your regular cup. The functionality I give 5 stars alone because it blends very well without the extra large ice chunks. Everything is blended wonderfully. Highly recommend if you have college students or those who live on military base in the barracks, or for those who live in hotels, etc.

Great blender for very light use
Great little blender, portable and holds charge pretty good. It's quiet and easy to use, easy to clean and the blade is very sharp. If you're planning to do milkshakes, protein powder shakes, small/light smoothies, mostly blending, this is great and will work. You must chop everything into tiny pieces. Also, the price is great for what you get. For me, it failed when I cut an apple into 8 pieces, evenly, and threw in 3 slices mixed with 6ml of recommended water/milk and the unit failed to chop the apples. The unit was fully charged and I didn't overload it. Just 3 slices with 6ml of milk. I tried 2-3 times to get it to chop the apples and then it overheated with all 3 lights turning red. I had to wait 1 hour before I could resume. By then, I not only had to leave to work but I had lost my appetite for a smoothie. Also, the black strap at the top should have been detachable. It gets in the way when you want to open/close the lid and not very useful when you're not on the road. The one-hour delay is what killed it for me, and I ended up returning it.
