I have an outdoor oval table measuring 72" x 38". Is this table cloth (measuring 60"x90") too big?

You will have 9-11 inch overhang. Personally, I only like 6 inches.

Is this table cover thick or thin?

It's not thick but it's thin enough that it lays nicely over the tablecloth. I like the thickness of it because I didn't want anything thick because it would have not laid flat.
