A New Favourite
I've been drinking single malts for a very long time and have sampled quite a lot of distilleries across the board but this was my first experience of The GlenDronach and I absolutely loved it. I was a bit sceptical when I bought this because it was such a reasonable price but, to me, it holds its own with more marquee (and, therefore, more expensive) Highlands as a smooth and elegant dram with a rich flavour through the sherry-casking.A new fave!

Good Whisky
I got this for my Dad on Father's Day it's a nice drop smooth , but not to bland , a Dalwhiney with a bit more kick .

Still good, despite filtering
Lovely warm malt with a classic Sherry cask flavour. They introduced chill filtering a few years ago -tut tut - but it has mostly survived the abuse. When will distillers learn to listen to us ( and Ralfy reviews) Don't chi;; filter. Bottle at 46%

If you love are want to discover sherried malt whisky Glen Dronach 12 is one I definitely recommend. No added colour and non chill filtered this whisky is absolutely gorgeous at a very reasonable price.

The best whisky you will find
If you are a fan of single malt matured in sherry cask, this for sure will become your drink of choice.I was introduced to it at the hotel bar in Aberdeen and never looked back since. Not only smells and tastes beautiful but also is affordable.

Wonderful Whisky
Fantastic value, a deeply satisfying single malt whisky. While up in Scotland over the New Year, I chanced upon a booklet, 'Scottish Field Whisky Awards 2019' The nominees were categorised as Whisky's under £50; from £50 to £100 and finally Whisky's over £100. Entries ranged from as little as £15 per bottle up to £550, from distilleries all over Scotland. A total of 54 Whisky's were sampled by the judging panel of ten people. The winner in the Category 'Under £50' was this wonderful whisky 'Glen Dronach 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky' What came initially as something as a surprise to me is that it also took the 'Whisky of the Year' award as well - hence my interest in purchasing, for the first time, a bottle of this lovely single malt. The Judge's, in my opinion, were not wrong in voting this the best! I hope that after posting this review I can still get another bottle before it sells out !
