WOW! I'm simply amazed!! First first time trying to gold leaf. I've a little antique drum table with cast bronze claw feet. I wanted them gold, but NOT 70s-80s Antique Granny Gold gold. I wanted these feet to "POP!" A youthful. PANTONE gold. (aka, colors currently on trend) Pale but bright and really reflect light. This is EXACTLY what I got with this product. Elegant velvety gold luster. Not tacky or gawdy. I was also worried It'd have that yellow, jaundice or orange hugh of so much fake, plated faux gold leaf. I don't know why I waited THIS long!!! It turned out so perfect. It was much easier then I was told, and so much fun. I'm on a roll. 🤔🤔What else NEEDS to be gold? Gimmy gimmy, I'm now addicted🤣 What a wonderful product. This Gigules Gold Leaf has me giggling with delight for sure. At this price point I wasn't nervous about wasting sheets with mistakes either. You get PLENTY of product. We built a house recently with polished concrete floors. There were a few “leaf fossils” that some might be upset about, but I love. I used these and some gold leaf glue to just barely highlight ours. I get compliments all the time! I’d never worked with gold leaf before but these made it so super easy.

Exactly what I expected, except for the packaging. The slit for tearing it open was unfortunately situated below the closure mechanism, so I inadvertently tore that off when opening. It's too bad because I really liked the resealable pouch component. Seems to be good quality gold leaf though.

Easy to work with

The gold foil sheets are super easy to apply. I use them to highlight certain parts of my calligraphy, creating a striking contrast with the dark ink or paint. I thought this was as going to be more sturdy, I used it to decorate the bottom of a dessert box, I found it very difficult to work with, it was very fragile and tore easily. It’s beautiful but difficult to work with.

Worest quality

Its really messy when you rub off excess gold foil. So i suggest you clean it off from the washroom so that you can just wash the floor off. Product works really well. Edit: gold foil oxidised and turned black. If anyone knows how to fix it please help.
