This sewing machine is very good quality for the price, it's sewing and handling is as good as other more expensive machines.

I am a big fan of Brother machines - it is working great so far and I can't to try some other ideas I have for embroidery. The Brothread spools are working great. Not associated with Brother as far as I can find but it seems to be good thread. The unlabeled spools that come with this package are crap. Thread broke 3 times in two minutes. And using cheap thread is bad for your machine.If I could do this again I would by the machine by itself and buy better quality accessories.

THE MACHINE IS FINE
The machine is fine (i think) but it is very difficult to get it to work. there is alot to learn ESPECIALLY which fabrics will work best. As for stretch fabric....i cant get it to work. i have tried loosening the thread tension, tightening the thread tension, different sizings, etc. I cant get it to work. so far, I have not been able to use it for anything because the learning curve is so steep. Hopefully this year i will be able to get to work.

Great machine
I love this machine and have gone wild embroidering. I have a regular sewing machine so I didn’t need that feature. Hoop sizes are good.
