Reliable Marine Wire That Holds Up Over Time
I’ve been using this wire for several years now, and it has proven to be very dependable. It’s flexible enough to work with easily, even in tighter runs, and stripping the insulation is straightforward without damaging the conductors. The tinned wiring is a big plus and gives me confidence when dealing with marine and electrical setups. I haven’t had any issues with corrosion, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Most importantly, it saves me from having to go back later to fix electrical problems. . What you may care about: • Long-term durability (Meets) • Corrosion resistance (Meets) • Flexible and easy to work with (Meets) • Easy to strip insulation (Meets)

Great value! Great length great product
100% great functionality! The insulation is definitely amazing. The wire flexibility is great. You don't have anything kinking it's difficult to actually bend which makes it amazing for longevity. The value for the length is great. I will definitely recommend this product

Great wire for my bass tracker tournament 17 rewire project.
I liked the ease of use roping this wire in to the compartments of the boat to.ppwer my trolling motor, and various sizes to supply power to my accessories, and fused circuits. The quality is very good, and it should last a long time ,when good connectors are used with heatshrinking tubing to seal from moisturize, and oxidation. The over all thickness was better than individual wires very well constructed like a extension cord ,outer casing is smooth, and thick to protect wires, and to eliminate overheating the wire insulation. Very functional, and a great value for your money.

Different than what I'm used to, but quality seems ok.
Assembly is a flattened oval, similar to Romex. Slightly smaller than 14/2 with ground. Does not come on a reel. Just loose in a bag, so if you care about clean cable runs and having the wire lay flat, it's going to take quite a bit more time, especially when working alone.

Tinned/coated copper IS the PROPER way to go if you want longevity and reliability. Pricey, worth it
Wire is supple and easy to work with. Tinning goods good. Splits easily, fully appears 16 gage. I'll have no problem using this for lower amperage accessories like my livewell pump, bilge pump, lighting, fish finder, horn, etc., I'm in process of re-wiring an 1990's aluminum 14' V-hull (Utility), and 50' is working well in the project. In case you're not familiar with Marine rated/grade wire, this stuff has a tin coating on the copper, to prevent direct air exposure and therefore, less opportunity of corrosion. There will be those who will use regular lamp cord, or other non-marine grade stuff, but time always catches up to you. If you want a chance at 10 or 20 years of functionality, you HAVE to go with Marine Grade tinned copper. Non coated copper wire starts to break down, even with minimal use, immediately. If you go to the trouble of rewiring, do it right. If you don't you'll chase problems within a year or few, and you'll regret it. If you're just wiring something up to make a fast resale, do the right thing instead of the cheap thing.
