Worked out perfect for our recent remodel- half the price of the plumbing supply nearby for the exact same thing

Good quality material. Directions say to make sure the shower valve and diverter are minimum 12 inches apart, but they could be much closer. Make sure to loop two of the opening together to the shower head to have adequate pressure.

This was the recommended water diverter valve for the Moen Commercial M-DURA PosiTemp Showerhead & Handheld Showerhead. It works fine, but the valve has three positions rather than just the two necessary. Two of the positions divert water to the shower head while the third selects the hand-held shower wand. Don't know why Moen doesn't make a two-position valve for it's showers installed as stand-alone showers. These three-position valves are designed for shower & bathtub combination installs.

Taking off 1 star because, honestly, Moen could have designed this such that you didn't have to rough in with a 1/2" offset to the rear of the posi-temp valve, making the rough-in process annoyingly more difficult and requiring more soldering than should be necessary. Otherwise, it's a good valve, although I'd prefer it be a 2 function + both type valve vs. a hard 3 independent function valve. Instructions state that if you wish to not use one of the outputs that it should be plumbed to the pipe coming from one of the other outlets. I don't see why you couldn't plumb to both of the other outlets, thus getting you the 2 function + both design, but I'm no master plumber and Moen will only say to me what their directions already say.

This is what we needed! Our plumber broke the gasket and the gear pins inside when he was sweating it to the wall. We were at a dead stop last night not knowing how to get another one! I order this last night, it was at my doorstep 16 hours later. EXACTLY what we needed for our set up with the spout, showerhead, and handheld. Thank you Moen, and especially Thank you AMAZON PRIME. I will never EVER change being a Prime Member.

It only works with 1 type Valve (Commercial Valve Only)

This is a three way diverter only, it does not shut off water (Top valve). If you are feeding only two shower heads it is better to divert the spare port back into the system (per instructions) for constant flow.

Built my own shower and this 3 position cable was Perfect. The cartridge is easy to change if ever need to. I converted all my pipes to copper or pex from galvanized.

We replaced all of our showers with Moen Commercial fixtures. The build and quality are impressive and give a spa-like performance. Truly superior products.

Solid brass and works as it should

We purchased the shower kit which includes in the description to have the Posi-Temp Pressure Balancing Tub and Shower Valve. In addition we purchased the Transfer Valve which was clearly listed as not included in the kit. As the plumber started installing the transfer valve, he noted that the kit DOES NOT include the Posi-Temp Pressure Balancing Tub and Shower Valve which needs to ALSO be purchased separately making the total cost of this kit completely uncompetitive compared to other higher end brands. We would not have purchased this kit had we known the total cost of the kit needed for any basic installations.

Had to return.
