Works great and easy to install

Anyone having problems connecting these light switches please read. There's a certain way to do it especially if it says you need a hub to connect. You dont!! Download or open Ewelink app, press the + button (top right) to add new device and select SCAN. Scan QR code on the back of booklet that comes with the switch. Simply follow the steps asked. Should automatically add to smartthings and alexa if linked.

For the price, these Sonoff switches can't be beat. They look great and are skinny (so you can mount them almost flush to the wall or behind furniture if you want them out of sight). They'll integrate seamlessly with Apple HomeKit (and all the other usual home automation platforms) and because they use Matter to communicate, you'll find them super responsive. There's a slight (reassuring) audible "click" when they turn on/off. They do require a neutral wire which complicates the installation ever so slightly. You might therefore need an electrician to do the job.

It works, but quality can be a bit better.

I wired it into a very basic oil boiler heating system. I use channel one for hot water, two for upstairs heating and three for downstairs heating. I can now control my heating remotely, and set timers through Alexa or e we link app. it’s a cheap way of gaining smart control.
