Fabulous product that does its job. Provides intense and lasting moisturisation. Has a buttery consistency without any added artificial fragrance.

I liked the quality of the product,seems certainly organic and legit.But when u r selling an organic product you should ensure that the packaging is good as customers are already paying a premium. I felt it was really cheap with dents on the container and cap. Sometimes this creates a doubt in the customers mind about the quality.

I have been using this now for three weeks, and I must admit that I am hooked! We are so used to using chemical products with strong fragrances, that when we actually come across something free of harsh chemicals and strong smells, we automatically think that it's off putting.Not in this case though... The nutty smell of this shea butter kind of grows on you. The healing power of this smooth butter is a blessing for skin stripped of moisture in dry, harsh climate, made worse with pollution.The butter melts into your palm, and spreads easily. You can feel the difference in just a few applications.A gentle reminder though, this may not be your choice if you are in a place with high humidity levels. But if you are in a dry, hot place, this is a blessing!!

Product has bad smell . Product has no clear expiry date

Nice product and will last long if you purchase one for winter. Jelly substance and thick. Stays longer on skin.

Presentation -The packaging was decent. There was no bubble wrap. The protection seal under the lid was intact. The bottle is made of plastic.Smell - One way to verify Shea butter is with it's color and smell. The smell shouldn't be rancid ( something like an oil having gone bad ). However, a nutty and a burnt smell is common. It tells you that the product is raw and unrefined. The burnt smell is due to the extraction process.Coming to the smell, it definitely isn't too good, and isn't supposed to be. However, it's raw and hence, a slightly unpleasant smell (not rancid) is normal.Pro-tip - the smell of she's butter shouldn't be staying on skin or hair after a few minutes of application. If it does, the product is artificially scented.Consistency - Shea butter will be solid if it's cold or refrigerated. However, since it's monsoon now and quite humid, the consistency is more like ghee.The quality - since I had ordered it in monsoon, I was a bit sceptic. There are so many pictures showing fungus infested products. Thankfully, mine seems good overall. However, I have noticed certain black spots inside the bottle on its downside. I had to cut half a point for that .I have just started using the product and apart from being a good moisturizer and caused me no rash or itchiness, it is too early to comment on its result.Have attached pictures, hope you find it useful 🙂

Very good for deep dry skin

Update: Have been a regular shea butter user for the past year or more and was totally in love with this product if you see the older reviews. However for the past two boxes, I got really fed up with the smell that seemed more overpowering than before and almost offensive. I have reduced only one star because I still believe it is a genuine product.Update: was just buying a fourth box, thought I should let people know :-)Would like to clarify I am not an expert on Shea butter. I bought a small pack (almost 5 stars) of another brand just to figure out if I like it. Then started looking for a good rate for a bigger pack. Bought this because of high rating (even if it was by only a few people) as well as competitive pricing. This product is definitely "smoother" in feel. I would surely buy again, once I am done with this box. Currently using for skin: applying directly or mixing with cold pressed extra virgin coconut oil in almost equal proportion and mixing with fingers. No point in heating it and losing out the benefits of "cold pressed" Add tea tree and lavender essential oils. It masks the shea butter smell and smells heavenly.
