My pool water was way too hard and using these strips I was able to monitor the level as I removed the calcium. I installed a water softener in the pool and the test strips let me control what was going on.

Easy to use, water hardness test kit. The kit works well provided the steps are followed according to the instructions. The test results completed as was expected. I am pleased with the kit overall.

Very handy for RV when traveling, lots of different tests on one tab. It will also test the wholding tanks. Easy to read.

These work wonderful

I tested my water for alkalinity and pH with 1) my old test strips, 2) a dropper kit, 3) brought it to the pool store and had it tested with their machine and 4) these 18-in-1 strips that I had just bought.Old test strips: pH 7.8, alkalinity 100Dropper kit: pH 7.8, alkalinity 90pool store test: pH 7.8, alkalinity 89THESE STRIPS pH 6.2, alkalinity 0 - in other words, both squares did not change color AT ALL from their dry color.Since I KNOW the pH and alkalinity (and hardness too by the way) were wrong on these strips, I have zero confidence that anything is correct. I am returning these and will try another brand.

The test strips are easy to use. I needed to test the water hardness in my new water softener. The test strips showed the condition of the water to allow the proper adjustments for the unit. The instructions indicate the water hardness by matching the color of the test strip to the colors of the instructions.
